Do you regret purchasing 2k14?

I don't know how to create a poll but I'd really be interested to know if the options to answer were as follows:

A: No, I Love This Game!

B: No, I'm annoyed at the overwhelming issues but still play a lot & enjoy the game

C: Yes, I want my time back

D: Yes, I want my money back

I think I would go with B, although I haven't been experiencing many troubles lately (aside some not reasonable implementations from 2K like VC and such).

I mean the game plays great IMO, it's just the way everything is put together that is wrong. But then again, the game plays great and it's fun.

B, annoyed by a few things...but, I still play the game and enjoy it when the servers allow.

B is closest to my answer... I hate the lag, hate the server crashes, hate the fact that 2k basically gave everyone Jordan and LeBrow and now this game is just all guard teams instead of how real Bball should be.

But in those rare moments in which the server is up, not laggy (usually at 5AM) and when the team I face actually has a full team instead of just Jordan, James, Magic, Wilkins, Pippin, and Dr J for 40 minutes... It can be a decent experience.

However, these are very rare moments. sigh... I will not be buying 2k15 unless it is revolutionary.

B,C, & D. Gameplay is great IMO but if I knew the servers were gonna not worki and not let me play game modes I woulda bought live instead

B .... gameplay, graphics, even presentation (real voice, interviews of players/coaches etc.) are great. But the glaring issues prohibits me from being totally amazed.

I have accepted the fact that... this next gen version of 2k14 was probably the last one I will ever pre-order, outright buy, or pay full-price for.

I agree with the other poster above... I won't buy 2k15 unless it is revolutionary.

A true game-changer.
Like 2k11 was.

Plus, even if it is a masterpiece... I refuse to get 2k15 within the first 30 days of release, or until the first patch drops. Whichever comes first.

It has fallen into the 'rental' category for me. (Instead of the 'pre-order' category, like its other predecessors.)

Definitely B. I can't stand the server issues and the always online issues, and all the minor bugs that need 2 be fixed, but the game is a blast for me 2 play against the cpu and friends locally. I think its because I don't play many online games anymore and if 2k servers are acting up, I'll just go do something else or I'll play a different game. We have server issues at work sometimes, so I'm use 2 it.

But that doesn't mean I going 2 be okay with the same issues next yr. Unless I get a free subscription to NBA league pass, I'm not pre-ordering next yrs game. I've skipped past iterations before, and I have no problem doing it again.

Honestly, if my buddy wouldn't have purchased his game digitally, we would have both taken our games to GameStop. I'm so sick of not being able to play.

I don't regret buying the game but I am very disappointed on how much this game resembles current generation in terms of gameplay. I swear the same issues present in current are still present in the next gen. The graphics are great but we should have expected that. I was looking for revolutionary gameplay and I didn't get it. I can't say moving forward this is a rental or watch until patch game but I am surely losing interest because things the community has asked to be fixed and been ignored. This is not a trend it's 2k legacy and I don't think it will ever get to that great blend when the only thing we can complain about is the very miscellaneous things like wingspans or nikeID still not working. These are only my opinions and I respect what everyone says on here little or big.

Going with B. I play it everyday until I get annoyed and turn it off, which is usually about 15 min in. As previous posters said I will not be pre-ordering or running around like a madman trying to find a vendor to release the game early will wait for feedback first....

B, there are some issues that are annoying like teammates sag off on defense, but overall I still like 2K14.

I'd answer C right now but I could end up answering B in 2 months if I'm confident I can play through my seasons & still have interest (doubtful). Unfortunately I'm avoiding this game until I know tf is up with the playoff freezing issue and if 2k will integrate shorter seasons into GM mode. I've had as much frustration as I can take with a game but I'm also enjoying MyGM mode that I'm 4 games into!

Time will tell for me... unfortunately with the game selection available on Next Gen, not having a basketball game entirely is off the table for me. I just wish my hopes weren't so elevated by the early praise 2k14 got from first impressions.
