    FIXED: MyCareer Substitution Glitch

For those having the issue come up where your player (and teammates) will not be subbed out for an entire game in MyCareer, I received a reply to my support request from 2kSupport that worked. See below:

Thank you for contacting 2K Sports. We are sorry that you are experiencing issues with NBA2K14. First we'd suggest the following steps from Sony:

From this guide, what we'd suggest is the "Rebuild Database" option. Note: The Initializing option does state that it will wipe your data. When booting into Safe Mode, please make sure not to choose this option.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Brian.K

As it states, don't select the option that says "Initialize PS4." Just stick with option 5 "Rebuild Database." It says it could take awhile, but for me it took about 30 seconds. I went into MyCareer and tested it by playing one game (didn't have time for more) and it was fixed. If you guys find it works for one game and returns soon thereafter (or doesn't work at all) post it here.

So, we have to have all our data wiped because 2k's game doesn't work as it should? right...

That's not what he's saying. Re-read his post.

Unless I'm mistaken, he said that the "Initializing" option, NOT the "Rebuild" option, will wipe out your saves. And he said to ignore that one.

Again, unless I read it wrong.

Right, the Initializing will wipe it, the Rebuild will not. Your data is safe. As for an XB1 fix, I don't know. Contact 2kSupport and see if they have anything.

For me the issue fixed itself. I have no idea what caused it. All-star game perhaps?

I fixed it once after unequipping my accessories only to have it happen randomly 5-6 games later... this may only be a temporary fix too, but at least we know a way to flip the switch on something. Maybe this trick will fix some issues other folks are having too. Worth a shot anyway.
