MLB The Show got me again

Back in 07 I specifically bought a PS3 for MLB the show now its about that time once again....I'll be buying a PS4 because of The show 14 I have actually had the money to get a PS4 since it came out but the two games I play the most are NBA 2k and the Show, not all that impressed with 2k next gen with the lack of customization...I don't know ever since I started to DL custom arena music and team specific chants off of here it changed the whole feel of 2k for me made it seem much more authentic not to mention no CAP for my custom retro rosters so this year decided to pass on 2k..Its going to suck not being able to have my team sounds and chants for the show but the game is so good I can look past it plus I can still get retro rosters for the show. But anyways ignore my PS4 no mp3 custom sounds rant I really just want to know did anyone else buy a PS3 or PS4 just for the show?

I bought my original playstation back in 1998 just for Madden 99
I bought my ps2 just for NCAA football
I bought my ps3 just for NCAA football also & fell in love with the Show in '08.
I bought my ps4 just for the Show 14, but I'll still pick up this years ps3 Show too, it now seems.

Yea the show 08 was my first show been hooked ever since I haven't been able to play madden or ncaa since PS2 though I hate what they did to Madden

I'm glad to see I'm not alone on buying a new console for one game. I bought a playstation 1 just for resident evil, same for gamecube (again just for resident evil) then the playstation 3 for MLB THE SHOW and yet once again, bought a playstation 4 just because of THE SHOW. My original plan was to wait until 2015 before buying the PS4, but with my PS3 getting the rsod a month after MLB 13 came out and then seeing the first look trailer for THE SHOW I was sold right then and there, and instantly bought a PS4 as soon as i found one.

I loved resident evil 1&2 I never really played any of the other ones after that. My system sellers go way back Sega/Super Nes(Mortal Kombats)
PS1(metal Gear Solid/resident evil 2) N64(007 Golden eye/WWF WrestleMania/NO Mercy) Sega Dreamcast(where I started playing NBA 2k)
PS2 didn't really need a system seller lots of good games and PS3 was bought just for the show and so will PS4. I did have an original xbox at one point but I played everything on there not really a certain system seller.

I was always an XBOX guy, had the 360 and never really ever thought about getting a Playstation. That is until I played MLB 11 The Show at my buddy's house, stopped by gamestop on the way home and bought a PS3 and The Show, been hooked ever since!!!

I don't like PS but I have to have some baseball. Getting a PS4 for The Show which makes me sick to pay that much for one game... All depends on what RBI Baseball is like.

If I ever do get a PS4 it will likely be for The Show. Just don't see any other games out there that really grab me.

Bro, this is like me too. (although I DO play Madden still because i need my football, LOL.) But, yeah, I'm highly thinking of boycotting until it's better. (Which I don't see coming). But yeah, TS:'08, was my first Show and ever since, I've had every one.

Not to give them any ideas but I would seriously pay $100 for the Show every year even if it was at that price. Thats how good this game is and Im drooling for the ps4 edition. Not just is it the only reason I have a ps4 but its the only reason I play video games period.

I bought a ps3 years ago because the show has manage mode. I now have traded the ps3 for a ps4.

Started playing The Show only about a month ago as I got back into baseball and the manage-only mode is so good. I go way back with baseball sims - Stratomatic, APBA, Earl Weaver, etc. etc. Now my family thinks I'm crazy for wanting to get a PS4 just to play MLBTS'14!

The Show was the determining factor in me getting a PS4. I owned a PS1 and a PS2, but for some reason I swapped to Xbox 360 at launch. I still own that and I never bought a PS3. For several years, I was jealous of PS owners for their ability to lay The Show. So when it came time to decide about next gen, and since I primarily play sports games, the PS4 won out because of The Show.

Went with the PS4 because of The Show. There's not a lot to do with my PS4 right now since my NBA 2k14 My Career files crash. Just waiting for The Show.
