All this stadium talk got me thinking.
I'm not upgrading to the PS4 and was wondering if they'll continue to update stadiums in the PS3 versions. For example, Wrigley is getting tons of renovations (scoreboard, signs, ect.) in the next few years. Will these updates be implemented into the PS3 version year by year? Did the ps2 stadiums continue to be updated?

Obviously with this being the first year on ps4, i'm not expecting anything major, but i do hope they are able to get a few more of the little things in there this year that you'd see in a real game, ie. ball boys, bat boys.

Also a better editor, with more customization options (I specifically really hope for better jerseys with the option to wear it unbuttoned)

Lastly, obviously hope for their to be an/open closed version of the stadiums with roofs.

I'm not really concerned with gameplay at all, i already know it's going to be great, so these are really the only things i'm concerned with, as well the ugly turn stats would take deep into franchise mode and rtts last year.

Also, to the person that said retractable roofs aren't necessary, i beg to differ, playing as the Blue Jays (or any other team with a retractable roof) in April with the roof opened and every player wearing long sleeves doesn't even look remotely realistic.

Just a guess, but I'd think somethings would still get love IE the Cubs scoreboard, but that's a big renovation smaller stuff I highly doubt. but who knows...

Keep in mind by the time say MLB 15 is around they'll want to push consumers more so to upgrade, its business

No, you cannot expect them to keep updating old tech on old consoles. For one there is a hardware limit, and the industry, rightfully so is moving to next gen the way it should be.

Is this game good for beginners to pick up and learn? Been wanting to get back on baseball games for awhile.

It's never going to go away until it finally does happen...........................you of all people (you've been on these boards a while) know that. It's one of the requests (on these boards at least) everyone wants to see added.

Is this game good for beginners to pick up and learn? Been wanting to get back on baseball games for awhile.

Start out on Beginner and then Rookie and play until you're comfortable to move up.

I understand that, but still. It's like beating a dead horse on here with it. I'm sure the developers heard the request the first 1,000 times it was mentioned. I could care less if it gets added or not, but I understand many do want to see it implemented. If it does get added, great. If not, then there is obviously a reason.

I was playing my Vita the other day and hitting batting practice in Rogers Centre and noticed that the sun was setting and provided a nice orange tint during my hitting session. When the game had started, there were lights instead of sky.

After seeing the new dynamic cameras and scoreboard, the only things I really need for 14 (I'll be playing on PS4) are great graphics (those early screenshots are beautiful) and slightly improved gameplay, like the ball physics and baserunning. Aside from that, I'd like some more/better batting stances and pitching motions... but I really don't see a way I dislike this game

The wall or the seats are the wrong color, the sky is too blue, there isn't enough rain or wind, the grass isn't the right green or look real enough, the dirt is too brown or it's too light. the cap bills are the wrong color again or the uniforms are white not creme colored, it will never freaking end
