Any Way to Increase Scouting Points in Next Gen?

I remember on current/last gen, you could use your XP to buy a scouting package that would essentially double the amount of scouting points you received in a given season. It helped a lot, allowing you to scout more players.

Can we do this in next-gen and if so how/where?

    Thanks.

Thanks Nova, but I'm still not seeing it.

When I'm in Connected Franchise, I go to the Home screen and I see my match-up, standings in my division, Advance a week, Media Statements and, I think, Team Goals. I see nothing about even remotely mentioning upgrades aside from simply "Upgrade Players" on like the fourth screen. But nothing about upgrading the scouting package.

Is it always available to do this, or maybe just at certain times like the offseason? Or maybe because I'm doing owner's mode and not playing as a coach?

In owner mode you must go to the owner tab. Then click on the staff menu, click on your coach and then you will be able to upgrade the coach's traits.

In coach mode you can do this via the home tab that Nova was talking about

^^Thanks. I'm not at home to check, so I need some clarification.

In owner's mode, are you able to increase the scouting points throughout the season, or just the off-season? I ask because I can't recall seeing the staffing section during the season, but maybe it's there and I didn't give it much attention.

And secondly, I have heard that to get the game to not spend your scouting points (so you can save up enough to get the scouting package), you have to change the progression for your players from weekly to end of season? Is that true?

It increases automatically. The scouting package just doubles how much you get.

i have mine set to weekly, but it doesnt matter as you can manually upgrade players at any time (to my knowledge). I hear 4 weeks is best for the cpu teams tho. You get xp for your coach and players by completing the weekly practices.
