I went head and key game until the offseason of my contract being up and nothing happened and the team I wanted to go to (lakers) they got bron and Blake has anyone have this problem

Confirmed. I'm in year 5.... contract defaults to 0 VC for 2 years. This is in numerous other threads as well and confirmed by others.

I won't say they did it intentionally, but I've always felt like MyCareer was set up to be a 1 year mode - especially the next gen version.

If you look at years past, all endorsements were earned in year 1. The mode becomes a series of quick matches after that.

That's no excuse for there not being a FA tho.

This game was definitely rushed to meet the release of the next-gen consoles. Whether 2K put that pressure on themselves, or the parent company, Take Two, did...it's the gamers suffering..

Yea most sports game I guess are designed for 1 year so that we could keep buying the next of the series. That is why Im all in for every other year release of sports games. I really dont mind paying them extra $10-20. But then again, that will be a huge loss of income for the company. But like 2k, they could release MLB 2k in year 1 and then NBA 2k in the next year...same developing team...and a few people working on the design for the next game.

Goind back to the OP, missing FA should not happen in ANY sport games like NBA, NHL, NFL, FIFA, MLB.

Well that sucks. Kind of a big deal choosing who you want to sign with. Then why does Lebron even tell you to join him after year 1 when you never get to choose?

There's free agency I had once but it was glitch pretty bad so I since started over so if I get the free agent screen sgain hopefully it won't glitch. ... I'm currently in my 4 season so ill post pick at end of season hopefully it works

This mode is absolutely pointless. I've lost all drive to even play this and I was having a blast. Now that I know I can NEVER play for the team I want, because the trades are bogus and you always go back and forth between the Bucks and the Wolves, I really don't see a point in this mode at all.
I started playing MyGM as well, but there's plenty of problems to go around with that also.

Only if you meet certain criteria. I've already gone too far in MC to do this method.

I was curious about this as well. I'd seen the reports that there was no free agency, but I haven't seen anything from anybody after year 5. From what I could tell, you start with a two year contract that includes 3 team option years for free, which is weird by itself. I haven't seen any reports of anything after the 5th year. I'm currently on my 2nd year. Has anybody been further than year 5?

MC is all screwed for me too. Went from the Suns to the Wizards to the Bucks (won the championship with them) to a Labron-less Heat (which sucked because no one shoots threes and only slashes) and now I'm on the Timberwolves.

I just want to goto the Pacers, Thunder, Bobcats, Magic among a few others. No matter how hard I try I can't get there. I'd even settle going back to the Suns.
