    Ranking the teams

Kind of a follow up to "top 5 players" and any excuse to talk The Show what do you think the 30 teams will be ranked? I'm very curious as me and my friends are getting teams ranked 16th-30th overall for our online franchise

    1. Detroit 2. St. Louis 3. Los Angeles 4. Texas

    5. Atlanta 6. Boston 7. Oakland 8. Washington
    9. Cincinnati

    10. Pittsburgh 11. Arizona 12. Tampa Bay 13. Baltimore

    14. Kansas City 15. Cleveland 16. Anaheim 17. San Francisco

    18. Toronto 19. New York 20. Seattle 21. Colorado

    22. Phillies 23. Brewers 24. Mets 25. San Diego

    26. ChiSox 27. Minnesota 28. Chicago 29. Miami 30. Houston

    Thoughts?

I wouldn't say Cleveland is a top 15 team this year...maybe top 20 other then that its pretty accurate....if u r ranking overall organization Milwaukee deserves that 30 spot

I agree with you but I couldn't drop them too much after making the playoffs. Even if it was the wild card spot. And I was just going with team talent, not organizational talent

No matter what should be correct,

It will be one of two scenarios for top 2.......

        1. Yankees
        2. Red Sox

        Or

        1. Red Sox
        2. Yankees.

As much as I hate a despise the Yankess, I definitely think they are better than 19th overall
              Teams-

              MLB: Oakland A's
              NBA: Atlanta Hawks
              NHL: San Jose Sharks

Homer post alert, I but I think the ChiSox should come in closer to around #19. Last year they were not a bottom 5 talent team, despite the 3rd worst record, and since July they added Avisail Garcia, Jose Abreu, Matt Davidson, and Adam Eaton. Still not a playoff team, but much closer to a middle-of-the-pack 75-78 win team this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if this year is a reversal of last year & there are claims the Bosox are under-rated this time around. As many good teams as there are I can see Boston at #10.

                      Re: Ranking the teams

Miami should be higher than that. Lots of young talent who played decently last year. Should be a solid team to build up in a franchise. Cardinals might be a little overrated, lost some key players and will have to rely on some young players who played well last year, but still a small sample size. Number one is probably the Dodgers. Home town bias but Nats should be higher. Elite pitching staff, pretty solid bullpen, great defense, but can really struggle at the plate. Top 5 or 6 talent. Unfortunately that doesn't always correlate to wins...

You are aware that the Indians made the playoffs last year right? Bet you can't tell what city I'm from, haha.

As an A's fan, I'm always resigned to the fact that my team won't get ranked highly (too many young guys). I believe we were #19 or so last year after winning the division in '12.

This is the way I see it shaking out... (Not saying I agree with the rankings, these are simply my predictions of what SCEA will have in the game.)

                              30. Chicago Cubs
                              29. Houston Astros
                              28. Minnesota Twins
                              27. San Diego Padres
                              26. Miami Marlins

                              23. Philadelphia Phillies
