Do you think there will be any news on Madden 15 after the super bowl tonight? I remember a few years ago they did something like this.

Monday is the day that something will be announced. I'm not sure if there is a definite time.

We will most likely only get one feature. I bet this year will feature either defense or an even better CFM.

Hopefully a cfm menu overhaul. This windows 8 look alike crap looks good...but sucks balls to find what you want. Couple examples
Ex1: viewing players cards used to tell you which every team the player has played for..whom they were drafted by and how they did each season. Now they give just stats. No team info and just a draft selection.

ex2: scouting/draft has no 40 times, bench reps, shuttle times, or anything like that

Ex3: cannot view a over the years individual players stats from depth chart or from stats menue simply by pressing a button anymore. Must go to rosters>find that player>view player card> find career stats and even then if he is a 11 yet vet who has played for 7 teams...youd never know unless you looked him up and if he is a generated player you would definitely never know. I used to love seeing how well my players did a a rookie then a sophomore so on and so fourth with just a press of a button.

Ex4: you used to be able to view stats, release players, sign fa, re order a depth chart etc all without having to go throw 3 slides and 3 windows to get to each indidual feature. It takes longer now to get to the depth chart than it. Did to load a game before.

The worst of all is multiple team control. You cannot do anything but update a depthchart of another team you you'll unless you manually switch over to that teams cfm menus. Which makes releasing players...trading players ,resigning players ...etc a complete b**** to do if you have 32 team control. toom me 4 hours to get through one offseason...just the offseason...thats after dimming the coach resign crap with 16 team control. (16 relocation projects in working on for a new league look)

I don't think they have done this in a few years. I think it was when Ian was the lead developer. In fact the last year info came out much later than normal.

Last year I think they showed info around draft time.

Ian's team showed info around the Super Bowl

What you guys will here is that EA's Madden no longer has full exclusivity on the virtual game market anymore. This is the reason Peter Moore was mum about EA's deal with the NFL. Others companies that are interested will be making their bids to the NFL this week to get into this market. My bud who went to the Superbowl spoke with a NFLPA representative who shared this great information with him. Looking forward to see who will make a game to compete with Madden 15.

Thank the Lord we will get to see a lot better football games in the near future! Your inside scoop on this better be realistic because it sure does seem to be that time again!!!

2K\ Take 2 hopefully can take football to the next level like they did basketball they only made 1.9 billion this past fiscal year. I'm sure they can make a pretty heavy bid. All the 2k fans let's keep our fingers crossed. 2k5 was a problem that's why us as gamers have been in this mess stuck with one game. That took 8 years to show any real improvement IMO.

I thought the NFL/EA deal got renewed again recently? Is this not true?

It was in fact renewed however EA has been hush hush over using the term "exclusive" which they have boasted about in the past. So right now we know EA will be making an NFL game but there is the slightest possibility that there will be completion either now or going forward.

Personally I've given up hope of ever seeing a football game made by any one other than EA

If they make one hopefully it won't be a disaster like next gen NBA 2k14

Nice, appears EA couldn't afford the exclusive anymore if this is true.
