Taking a break from this for now. May jump back in, in a few hours. As mentioned before there are absolutely NO timeouts called in this thing. Unless you do it yourself, you won't see a single timeout from either side here. The only time subs come in is during dead balls, which you'll get plenty since this is still NBA Live: Block Party Edition.
First two games I played were both tonight's Denver/Indiana matchup since I wanted to see if two different games would produce completely unique experiences. Both times Denver attacked the paint relentlessly. For the entire first half of the first game I swear to you they didn't attempt ONE jumpshot. Not one.
There's still some warping for CPU defenders to stay in front of you. Witnessed that as I tried to get to the baseline with George Hill and Ty zapped in front of him after I got the step on him.
Pace is still too slow IMO. There are times that I want to push the ball up court and I'm forced to take that slow dribble up court instead. The pressure I put on the stick should dictate whether I walk or run up court, not some invisible force.
I mentioned before though, I was satisfied with my shot timing. The shootaround makes a ton of difference as far as that's concerned.
