I plan on using my hometown team, Atlanta Braves, and going after a bonafide ace, and then trading Dan Uggla.

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
I'll start with the Mariners and try to pry Stanton or Price away from their respective teams as I'm hoping the trading is upgraded in this game. I really like the "find a trade" feature from 2k and would like to see the total number of players able to be included in a trade be vastly increased (currently at 3 per team and no multi-team trades possible).Comment

I dont really do franchise mode, But I will say my first actions after setting my settings and sliders and such, gameplay wise will be Yanks/Sox at fenway.

For realism, you are going to drag this out over 4 1/2 hours right?Comment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
Realism? What's real about dragging it out that long. (unless your speaking of how those games between them always have unnecessary delays?)Comment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
I was joking as Yankees/Red Sox games tend to be, on average, some of the longest games (9 inning) each year.Comment

Dodgers and my first move is cutting or trading Brandon League for a C/D level prospect. Can't stand him.
I'll also probably search for a OF that is speed/defense focused so that I can trade one of my OF and still have someone as a sub/injury insurance. Wouldn't need to be a long contract since I have Pederson in the minors itching to come up.
Obviously need to wait for the OSFM rosters so I'll probably mess around with RTTS in the mean time.

The Jays. My first step is always to look around the menus, see whats new. The I always start a RTTS career first, and wait a month for rosters before starting my chise.Comment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
I actually stay away from all modes that use OSFM until they are out. Especially RTTS. That mode is greatly diminished when you aren't playing against "real" prospects.Comment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
I always start a franchise with a team just to play around with until knights roster is out then I start my dodgers chise and my RTTS...Mite be hard waiting on the roster for rtts this year though but ill start my chise with the cubs...I think the cubs are low key becoming my second fav team Lord knows why.Comment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
For you for me it isn't, if I had to stress over perfect realism in my seasons, i would never be happy as my show seasons never match what happens in real life. I enjoy my own little virtual baseball world, and dont worry about unbridled realism.Comment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
I ALWAYS do Yankees, but I did a Houston Franchise in '13. I will be do my Yankees on PS4 though, no if's, and's , or but's about it.
***I gotta say though, those looking for a new team to use and rebuild towards dominance, the Houston Astros are A LOT of fun to use. Very young, but somewhat talented players. I had an absolute blast using them in last years game.
I signed free agents Thome and Grady Sizemore in end-May, and ended up trading Sizemore and a top pitching prospect for Mike Trout in Mid-June lol. THEN I traded a top outfielder, my closer, and Erik Bedard for Stephen Strasburg. Ended up making it to a one game playoff for the AL Wildcard where I lost on a Pujols walk-off HR. Haha But I definitely suggets Houston....beautiful park, cool jerseys....etc.
