Everyone is entitled their own opinions of the game. Except for the lack of timeouts, I was perfectly fine with the game pre patch. After the update, I'm still fine with it and I'm happy they're trying to fix their game. Looking forward to 15.

that pass back bug is infuriating! it almost makes the game unplayable. EA needs to fire their q.a guys I promise I could do a better job. more promises for next year, more we can't fix this without redoing the whole game, yet they were the ones talking about ignite allowing for easier use of tools. I'm ignoring the EA fan boy in me from now on. if 2K wasn't as much of a scam as this one i'd switch but their game is glorified 21 at your local park where everyone is LeBron James and the cracked is the self appointed ref.
I can't wait for titan fall. sighs (grr. more of my money for e.a.)

I think I'm starting to have a serious case of placebo effect I initially played the game after the update and actually liked it now the more I play the more I see that the game feels very ping-pong like and is extremely fast paced when it shouldn't be guys are almost like rocketing on the floor now I think it only look smoother because they sped everything up not liking the game at all nowBrand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...Comment

its like they remade this for nextgen. or took aspects of this and incorporated digitally to nextgen..

To solve the double pass problem, don't press the stick or the turbo button after you pass from the inbound, let the point guard turn around then do what you have to do
I'm still a bit disappointed with the update due to the lack of tempo, but I switched to the ESPN cam and took off the zoom, and the game actually flows pretty decent. And the camera doesn't bounce up and down. too bad that pass back solution doesn't work! and somehow input lag has gotten worse in some aspects, there are also times where its just totally unresponsive. I was fine with this game it was weak but it played a better brand of basketball then I had in a while but how do you BREAK a core part of the game? you mean to tell me none of the developers played the game before releasing the patch? ITS HAPPENED EVERY FREAKING GAME I HAVE PLAYED SINCE THE PATCH! you mean to tell me they released this patch and no one caught this? i'd much rather believe they knew and decided against fixing it, then believe that computer science and computer program degree receiving people were to incompetent to play one game to see how it plays before releasing. then the game makes it to Q.A! THEY CANT CATCH IT EITHER? I want to like this game sooo much, I've owned every live since I remember playing live 2000 demo on my dusty *** Compaq with a keyboard and mouse. to think that 15 YEARS LATER! I have to pray that a pass back bug doesn't strike seemingly at the worst time during game play.
and that graphics upgrade is another scam! all they've done is tuned brightness and saturation and contrast and removed some gloss!!
first of all live 10 had better controls! at least I could pick which hand I wanted to finish with around the basket! at least there was one to one dribbling on the right stick with no lag! and don't tell me I'm doing something wrong! I have owned this game SINCE DAY 1. always finding a bright spot something so I can tell myself live is good, live is good.
the reality is that its not. the only way to consistently penetrate to the basket is to do some variation of Y (or triangle for you ps4 monsters!) so that your percentages sky rocket. beating your man off the dribble requires you to think 4 moves ahead because of the delay but they call it rhythm! yeah right.
BUSH. this game is BUSH
sad thing is ill be one of the first with NBA live 15 telling everyone LIVE IS BACK!
rant is over! sorry I'm going back to rising star since theres no other good games on these wack next gen consoles

They have to fix the momentum with the dribbling, you can get the timing down but it doesnt feel natural. I do agree with Live 10 having the better controls, the main problem with these controls are the responsiveness of them, they gotta take a page outta FIFA's book and get them like that, cause that's where its atComment

The thing I have notice on the PS4 to stop the pass back option after I bounding is don't hold the X BUTTON in to long. Just tap it and it won't pass back. If you hold it in to long you will automatically throw another pass.It's 'Sconnie not wiscy!!!!!Comment

I have to give the team credit - from release until now this has been one of the better supported titles in terms of adding noticeable differences to the game. They are subtle but guys who have an attention to detail see the difference. The double passing thing is a joke. I'm sorry but we shouldn't even be discussing "how not to make that happen" on a PS4 game in year 2014. Such a basic fix that should of been handled on day 1 of release. I don't get it.Comment

The passing is horrendous right now...
The double passing is happening more than just inbound plays...I have situations where I am drop passing in the lane and the ball is immediately being passed out...
Worse than that is the directional passing...simple passes are being thrown directly into defenders....or in the complete opposite direction...Comment

I'm sorry guys I've tried every which way to avoid the pass back bug. it literally happens in every single game I have played! every single game. like X said you go in the paint drop off what is supposed to be a dime only to watch an open bug kick out to a contested wing! they shouldn't have messed with the mechanics in the first place. it wasn't broken. I knew their explanation of how they fixed it was fishy. " we sped up some animations and stretched out others..." #Ridiculous
there are times I'm standing there playing taps with a teammate while I wait until the bug stops! literally taps! this is something that BREAKS basic game play. to be there for 7-8 seconds playing taps during an NBA game is ridiculous. for the frequency its happening for me I don't get how it left the studio without being caughtComment

I would Love to like this game...but its so hard. I am a decent 2k Player but cant Beat the CPU on Rookie playin Live!
Was hoping for some defensive Upgrades but nothing happened...just played the raptors with OKC - got whacked 40:54 - 46 of their Points coming from inside the paint. I just cant handle it...watched Videos, read in this forum...maybe i should give it upComment
