Any word from Ramone on Sounds of the Show?

The new game is looking good!
Wondering if anyone can confirm new info on whether 14 will support upcoming media capability via Sound of the Show- if not initially, then at some point in this season?

For the PS3 I would imagine that there will still be sounds of the show. But for PS4 its looking otherwise...

I thought I heard somewhere that they wouldnt be in MLB 14 on the ps4. I could be wrong though...

I know a lot of people don't care if its in the game, but with SOTS, it adds more realism to the game with authentic Stadium music that all MLB team uses for walkup,HR,RBI,etc...

I hope Sony and the show can add this feature so myself and others who contribute to this section of the game can continue our work of making this game as realistic as possible

I thought I heard somewhere that they wouldnt be in MLB 14 on the ps4. I could be wrong though...

I know there's been speculation on here that there would not be but I don't think anything official has been said.

Personally I love using it with my RTTS players so I'm hoping that it'll be in. I know that Shuhei was talking about looking into adding MP3 capabilities in a future update so hopefully Sounds of the Show makes it in and will be usable after the system update.

Don't take my word for it but I don't think there's to much SCEA can do unless Sony releases an update patch comes out allowing the use of audio...seriously though what was sony thinking not having this in Day one? This does add a lot to the game though same for NBA 2k

There is nothing they could do for the PS4 in that regards.
I thought Ramone said no SOTS on the4...with a possible return if the ability is ever put onto the system.

I read that Sony was supposed to release an update for PS4 adding this in so maybe with a patch we could get it in there not sure if that's possible though and then again who knows when that update is coming

I thought I had heard the update would be by end of summer, which most likely MLB 15 will have SOTS not 14 though...
Hopefully the plate music next time we hear it will be better than it was in 13 where you could barely hear it

yea that's how you know its all bad lol its cool though I'm still buying it wasn't really SCEA fault anyway I'm sure if they could have put it in they would.

It might take a bit more from Sony than just adding MP3 playback to the PS4. Games would have to be able to access that functionality. I wonder how many games used the functionality on PS3 and if Sony would think its worthwhile to add it in. Or maybe it is that easy, just adding in MP3 support, but it seems like it would be more complicated than that.
