When I read that I was blown away and doing cartwheels. No reason not to pick up the PS3 version and not worry about constantly starting over moving forward.

I really don't understand how making the grass and gloves more realistic is more important than eliminating the blatantly unrealistic things like the roof never being closed in Houston or Miami.Comment

I don't think anyone said or is saying it is.
But creating the grass ....and populating the field with it....is a lot easier and doable(with dev time) than building those stadiums over(both open and closed).
Comparing the two is not really the right argument.

It also sounds like the grass is actually going to affect the ball more so then it has in the past so it technically is a gameplay element as opposed to it being solely an aesthetic feature.I don't think anyone said or is saying it is.

 True.
But to be fair....an open or closed roof would too.

It was a loose comparison, based simply on a big deal being made about the grass. They added classic stadiums in 2010, it was obviously doable to make closed-roof versions of the current stadiums then, they just chose not to. I'm sure there are reasons, but it seems really out of whack to me. They even added something that made it MORE unrealistic to have the roofs not close when they put in the rain.I don't think anyone said or is saying it is.

I could understand if the roof not opening or closing *during* the game was too difficult to do, but simply having alternate versions of the stadiums that could be selected at the beginning of the game wasn't and it's really baffling to me why it's taking so long.Comment

I thought rain was not an option in those stadiums that had their roof open?“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

I just hope they created Chase Field with the roof closed this time. Like, if there was an option to just have one or the other as they rebuilt them, having it closed would be more appropriate. They do that more often anyway, and it just looks better when all of those panels close up in center field as well.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
