I actually really appreciate some of these things being debunked early, so the disappointment can be felt early and moved on from. Like i'm already over the fact that there won't be retractable roofs this year, and it sucks that players still don't wear their own uniforms in the all star game, but it's better then finding out going into an all star game.

Hopefully these things can be implemented next year.
    NFL : Atlanta Falcons
    MLB : Toronto Blue Jays

I think it will take about 3 years for MLB The Show to use the full potential of the PS4.

I'm sorry Woodweaver but you kind of jumbled up our quotes a bit and I kind of misunderstood which of us were perceived as correct. I'm really interested in this matter so if it's not too much a hassle could you clarify that for me?

              Somehow I don't think so!

I would probably say something similar, but I guess I try to compare it to the PS3. Three years on the PS3 would have been through MLB 09 The Show. There was still a lot of great things added from '10 on. Also, with the greater power of the PS4 compared to the PS3, I still think there will be a lot of nice potential there even come 2017 and beyond.

But I still want to focus on this year. Way to much to be excited about now to be thinking about 2017.

I would hope not... This generation will not last 8 years like the previous one, its going to be 5-6 years like the PS1 and PS2. The PS4 was built with maximizing profits in mind, there is no super secret sauce like the cell this time around.

However, that won't stop the dev team from working in steps. Lay the groundwork in year one with features and modes, bring on the eye candy in year two!

Wait, is Ramone saying they don't know if its being worked on or not? Or is he saying they don't know if they can get it in in time?

This seems like a huge deal if the logic is better only in online franchise. Really curious about this now.

Wow! This is quite amazing. I can't wait to see a full game on the PS4.

I have not seen anything confirming this. I think people are going with the notion it will not be in for the ps4.

Hope this question makes sense. With the ability to carry over franchises from year to year, I'm assuming new players won't get to be added. For instance, I am a Red Sox fan, but if I was converting over from last year, there isn't a way Xander Boegarts could just be added to my existing franchise even though it's the new year of the game? He of course was not in last years game, but is in this year. Anyone know how will that work? With this feature, will brand new players and rookies not get added to the existing franchise?
