If this is the wrong thread I apologize, but will all the recent signings in arbitration and recent extensions (a la' Braves) make it into the game?

I read through the comments and I didn't see an answer to a few of my questions. I love the new additions but was wondering.

      1. Will they have stat tracking that will keep over multiple seasons? High Heat Baseball back in 2002 had this for PS2. It was setup just like a baseball card and it was helpful to be able to track your minor league players seasons by seating their stats layer out each year. Also for MLB guys as well. Currently I write it all into an excel spreadsheet but I would love not to do that anymore.

      2. Anything about records. I know they have a small page of the records but was hoping to see an expanded list of say top 20 in each category and even team records. Baseball is all about its history and would be great to see our players chase records and see where the stack up thoughout the history their team and/or league.

      Thanks

        1. On the fact sheet: More player stats stored for every season (Online Franchise)

Sadly we don't know if this will be in the normal offline franchise as a few devs have said they are unsure if the listed features for online will make it into the offline mode. I honestly can't see it not being there, but them specifically saying online fanchise has me a bit worried.

Dynamic Difficulty (All platforms) - Baseball is a sport the dedicated love to master, but also one that can intimidate newcomers. In this year’s version of The Show, players who don’t feel like veterans yet can opt to start on a lower difficulty level and jump right in. An advanced logic system will then grade the user’s skill and adjust the challenge level up or down based on their overall performance. Batting and pitching are evaluated separately, so it’s possible for one to increase in difficulty while the other doesn’t, or even reduces. On-screen notifications will advise when the difficulty setting has been adjusted.
Was this in previous years? I'm coming from XBOX/2K and have never played the show. I remember Madden had something like this but it didn't work at all. How well does this work for The Show? I spend so much time tweaking sliders that I don't get to enjoy the game as much as I should. If this worked well it would be a godsend.

Kirby are you the worker who once left to work on Madden?

Also, if you feel at any time the threads are slowing down, a gameplay vid will spike the orange juice.

Now that Nem mentioned it, i am curious bout the fielding indicator. what else can they do to it?

As much as I'd love to see a gameplay vid (especially of PS4)... Kirby can't just release one if he thinks we're getting bored. (because then he would be working for the Madden game, but not by choice if you get what I mean) HAHA

Kirby is a game designer at SCEA. He played college ball till recently. You guys are confusing him with Kolbe.

I'm worried that they plan on exporting the stats to the Online Franchise website instead of storing it to the save files directly. That would be why they're only listing it as an Online Franchise feature.

do an online franchise by yourself then, again if that is true

Franchise Improvements (PS3 & PS4 Only) - Efforts continue to improve the accessibility of Franchise mode. A new notification system, which keeps the user more connected to their organization and the league, serves as an “Assistant GM” and will make sure critical information is more immediately provided and more readily accessible. Also refined is the logic that helps the multi-season cycle of Franchise mode and all of the stats and developments therein resemble real life as closely as possible. Other additions include a player search and the ability to hire and fire coaches during the regular season.

Does it mean that the Franchise mode will be different for Vita? Can I still play the same franchise on PS3 and Vita?

I'm more curious if you're avatar is an Easter egg for which Minor League team I'll be able to pitch with you on.

I'm sure the yellow shirts are not possible yet, but I was just curious.
I think its very possible that the PS4 version will feature King's Court at Safeco this year.

my favorite addition listed on the fact-sheet:

thank you very much, for permitting the option for 'television commentary', in RTTS mode. RTTS remains my my favorite game mode. In truth, i couldn't play RTTS mode in MLB 13, because there was no TV commentary.

thank you for returning this as an option, for MLB 14.

So, the beards (on PS4) will they be on all year? Or will you have the ability to "shave" them during the dog days of summer? They are called "playoff beards" for a reason...
