No one aside from the Devs know most of the specifics so i can't answer for sure, but I think it's a safe bet that player attributes, models, photos, etc. will be updated from year to year, but the players themselves will remain the same. For instance if you start a RTTS as a short stop and play for the Yankees, you will probably still have to contend with Jeter, come the '15 Show, even though he will not be on the official roster for that game. (unless of course he retires in-game as well).

Ya, my understanding is nothing changes or "updates"..you dont get to transplant your RTTS player or franchise you just get to continue your save from the previous version in the new version..pretty much exactly the same..just in the new game. What ever reality is created in your old save will still be the reality in your transferred save.
