    BEST/FAVE COMBINATION OF SIG SKILLS?

I have a 6'11 PF Athletic maxed out. I have
    posterizer,
    dead eye,
    hustle points,
    tenacious rebounder,
    chase down artist,
    one man fast break,
    and post proficiency.

The following are the ones I've purchased and decided not to use:

highlight film (i wonder why they couldn't use the word "reel" instead)
    catch and shoot
    lockdown defender
    pick pocket
    eraser

im interested to see what some other people are using at different positions as well. i saw a thread earlier about bigs who can't board. tenacious rebounder plus hustle points makes a world of difference.

Lockdown defender is amazing for defense. Best defensive signature skill in my opinion, especially for HOF. Defending in the post negating someone's finisher signature will result in a bunch of rebounds.

    As my PG I use:

    Sprite Posterizer
    Finisher
    Dimer
    Pick Pocket
    Pick and Roll Maestro
    Deadeye
    Gatorade Sports Pack

    Personality Badges:

    Swagger
    Unphased
    Floor General/Hardened

If you're 7" or taller it doesn't make a difference

        BEST/FAVE COMBINATION OF SIG SKILLS?

As an athletic pg, I like to use

        Dimer
        LBJ coast to Coast
        Ankle breaker
        Finisher
        Gatorade pack
        Deadeye
        Lockdown defender

        I also use
Alpha male, floor general and defensive anchor for my badges

I was thinking of subbing either ankle breaker or lockdown defender for pick pocket, unsure as to whether I should go through with it!

i got rid of lockdown defender because it said something about perimeter defense. didn't say anything about post defense. im going to try it now.

I would. After capping pick pocket and knowing when to use it, the forced turnovers through steals or shot clocks (from them getting ball back but losing time) really makes a difference. Especially on HOF. Every possession is really important playing teams like Thunder since being down a few causes your own team to start sucking making it really hard to come back when HOF hits most shots.

Also, as a PG, I overlooked pick and roll maestro and REGRET IT. Ever since picking it up and capping it, my passing to rolling teammates are much more accurate even with Dimer and the added points to your shooting coming off the screen helps land much needed 3s or mids.

just added hustle points and catch and shoot. what a difference. despite my pf only having 70 three pointer i knock down a fair share. i also grab a lot more boards with hustle points. i highly recommend it for a bigs.

Replaced ALL me scoring sig with defensive sig. Scoring is easy. Defense not so much. Seen an uptick on deflections and steals.

I'm kind of thinking of doing this too. Right now, my 6'5" scoring shooting guard has

                  Sprite Posterizer
                  Deadeye 2
                  Pick Pocket 3
                  Dimer
                  Tenacious Rebounder
                  Lockdown Defender
Oncourt Coach (not so much for play calling but so they'll give me the damn ball)

Personality Badges are Alpha Dog, Hardened, and Defensive Anchor. I use hardened instead of Gatorade Pack.

I may replace Posterizer and Oncourt Coach. I like Dimer and Tenacious rebounder because as a scoring SG those are capped kind of low. Pick Pocket 3 is awesome. I don't get called for reaches every single time.

I was laughing my *** off when I read the on court coach lol. Idk why I found that so funny. Anyways I was gonna ask if you really notice a big difference when buying levels of a skill. I've never bought anything past the first level because I never thought it actually did anything.

Yeah I definitely do for pick pocket. It's a must IMO. Without it, even with steals maxed out, I got called for a reach in almost every time I tried for a steal. It may be a little overpowered now actually. I get more steals (but it's not to the point where I get one every time I try) and NEVER get called for a foul, although I do pick my spots and don't spam it. I think it helps on deadeye too, although that may just be placebo effect.

Give it a shot. I mainly did it for park mode. I even got rid of posterizer. Having all defensive skills helps both my max pg an max pf. If my jump shot and dunk are maxed is really needed to make it better. I think getting steals. Getting deflections. Stealing in the passing lane is where you can make a big difference in the game. I don't think pick pocket is OP. active hands is def OP.

How many steals do you get a game and how long are the quarters?

Active hands? Really? I tried that at first but I don't think I got a single strip using it. Or do you mean interceptor?

Hell yea. All you have to do is hit the steal button while in the paint. Ultra effective in park.
