The double pass is spelling the end of this game for me. Pity.

Can't mess with passing man....it's so crucial to the game.....it's the reason NBA 2K12 didn't make it past December for me...that stupid, stupid delay... don't get me started on that though...

Live really needs to fix this though or they will keep losing players...passing to a wide open guy to have him pass back across court is maddening..

I'm not having it (double pass bug) either. I've noticed that the "touch" of the buttons is more apparent in this game, only requiring light taps (like a pump fake) to execute crisp passing vs. holding down the button longer as many are accustomed. When holding the button longer, I do see the "double pass issue", especially after an inbounds or dribbling across half court.


Since I've "feathered" my touch sensitivity, and learned the timing of the different pass types, I've seen no issues with double passing, or "input lag" and credited my earlier struggles/issues to learning a new control scheme.


Late game AI issues have been minimal to me(almost none), but occasionally (about once every 3-4 games) I'll trap a guy in the paint/post with a double team (who picks up his dribble), who acts like a "trapped guy" and gets a 3 sec call, if anyone understands that.


It could definitely use a graphical/animation upgrade by today's "standards", but the game is fun for me, responsive for me, and definitely does not hurt my eyes when playing, as some have expressed in one way or another.


The control changes in LIVE are huge compared to what we have been accustomed to, and can't be experienced in the new practice mode by just dribbling and shooting. The ball feels like an actual object to protect, and not a part of the player. They should have included 5v5 practice, 2v2 pick and roll tutorial, and a robust post move tutorial as well.


I could do without player edits if they kept the editing to "same day" as promised, but a slider set would help tremendously.

I asked the live team about the passing bug and changing the race of certain placers that aren't right and this was their response.

We have alerted our Dev team about this issue and they are currently working to resolve it. As soon as we have more information, we will hit you up.

We are also looking into the player colors as well, but may not be able to fix all of them. Thanks for your feedback and keep it coming!

I just played a game on the PS4, and all three of the newly introduced passing bugs are still there:

-- Inbound double pass
-- Point guard passback after an icon pass
-- Wonky directional passing

So if anything was "resolved" on EA's end, it definitely hasn't gone public yet on PS4.

rising star shows how much this game is lacking. ai, just stands and do nothing, sometimes a play won't progress because I stand near the ball handler, but aren't bodying up. charges are NEVER called.
I'm litteraly reading the offense before it happens and stand in their way. nothing is called.

I'm very frustrated right now. bugs that's been in the game, since day one hasn't been fixed. rather they've added bugs.

I'm no dev, but addressing bugs can't seriously be so hard?!

this is my basketball game for the year. ain't gonna get the other game (even tho they actually addressed and fixed a lot of things. competition is good)

but this effort of ea is kinder laughable. sure the games has some really good visions and ideas. but non of them are functioning in action.

work in progress I know, I know. but, those bugs? I seriously can't comprehend why they don't fix it!

I love the game, I do. but I want to see real issues get addressed.. and if the still will support live 14 or are moved on to 15.

I just wanna see the live series succeed, nothing else.

This point guard pass back glitch is horrible!!!

I just played as the Kings doing some Jimmer scoring challenge and almost every time I called for a pass it did that stupid pass back.
I can't believe I even try with this game anymore.

I just wish that the game wasn't so Bi-Polar.


I played todays Kings-Celtics matchups using SAC. I controlled Cousins or my C on Defense and used coach settings for everyone else. Outside of the known CPU T.O. issue the game was a fun,close game that came down to the final minute. The CPU hardly had any animation wonks, none of my called sets aborted, I could pass who I wanted to. It's those kind of games that keep me playing


But then you'll have these games where the CPU gets in its own way, your play art vanishes, your controls wont respond, X button passing betrays you, your off ball teammates do things that don't make sense and the CPU turns into cheating whores.


The game just needs to be more crisp. Plays need to flow better, user control is much better pre patch, but the transition animations need to flow better..drop steps and up and under moves are too slow, and plays can take too long to get going.

It is what it is with this game. The title update has come out for this game, so people should not expect for them to improve this game anymore. They just need to focus on Live 15, and hope they don't screw that up like they did this game. The game has not even cracked past the 150,000 copies sold so far,and I doubt they get to 200,000 copies sold by the end of the NBA season. Their reputation is damaged, so they have to be serious from this point out.
