I was just wondering how or if you can have a pre planned fight. Like right after a face off. Also how do you perform a hip check? Btw playing on Xbox 360. If anybody could help me out I'd appreciate it

Prior to the puck drop, press Y or triangle and you will initiate a fight. Your opposing player will have to press Y or triangle in order for the fight to go on. So if you want to fight, just keep spaming Y or triangle until the puck drop.

Performing a hipcheck.. press down on your right stick. NHL 14 hipcheck is way harder than NHL 13, and thus in 14 you will almost need to time it perfectly.

Easier for online. Offline you can still do it, but only if there is a player that's a fighter.

I know there was an option to have box scores e-mailed to you, but I don't think it works anymore. I don't know if it was for anything other than OTP. If you're looking for club games, it's under club info tab.

It works, but it's horrible. In NHL 13 it was done so much better. Now for OTP, they don't even send me the full stats (ie: All players on each team with their respective points). Now they just send the stat of 1 player on each team.

Does anyone know how to do knee one timers in NHL 14? Is there a trigger or is it attribute based? Plus for general one timers when I am controlling one man (EASHL) and I slap a one timer I never feel like it is as strong as it should be even though my slap-power is good. I usually wind up fully hoping someone will pass it to me and I rip it. Is it a better idea to wait to wind up as the pass is coming to me?
