Sports Daily: Giving 30-0 its Due

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/otMEHEGfQ4M" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Want to know how impressive Wichita State's 30-0 season is? Just look on ESPN.com for the story.

Can't find it yet? Keep looking -- no, not on the front page, check the NCAA Basketball sub-page. Ah there it is! All the way down as the tenth story of the day.

One-and-a-half days removed from making history, the No. 2 Shockers are just an afterthought -- much like they've been this entire season. Sure they play in the MVC which happens to be minus the Doug McDermott Show at Creighton this year, but did we forget this is the same team that reached the Final Four last year? It's one thing to get the "Boise State" treatment in college football, but when you back up a huge run with regular-season perfection (still one game to go!), what more does it take to be No. 1?

Sound Off: Should Wichita State be ranked No. 1?

It's pretty cool but who have they really beaten? The only good wins they have are against St. Louis, BYU, and Tennessee and calling Tennessee a quality win is a bit of a stretch. I think they could make it to the elite 8 in the tournament but I don't really think they'll be a legit contender.

    Watch them prove me wrong.

    MLB: Atlanta Braves
    NBA: San Antonio Spurs

Plenty of teams have easy schedules, yet they don't get to 30 wins. It's an impressive feat no matter the SOS.

Who else in the rankings played a schedule that is? They played 1 ranked team all season in Saint Louis......the next best team, BYU? TN? lol Of course you have to have a good team to go undefeated...but we'll see how that goes once the tournament starts and they play a tough team.
