Opponents having super quick reflexes in loose ball situations

9 times out of 10 when I'm in a loose ball situation my opponents win the ball. Whether it's going for rebounds or going after a ball you've knocked loose the other team seem to recover instantly. Theres no point even going for them because by the time your guy reaches the ground to pick up the ball the guy who dropped it up has picked it back up, taken it round you and gone for a layup.

I have way too many turnovers because of this BS.

I blame it on the god aweful character movement. For some reason the user cannot take steps, or actually move their character normally until they hit a full sprint. Until a sprint, the character just jumps around. The CPU seems to be able to move and react like a real human being while the player is dealing with a tank.

Player movement isn't necessarily the problem. The problem is the idea that without a certain signature skill, regardless of rating, you're unable to do said action to any decent level of success. It's not the idea that while others may excel at this said aspect of the game, others aren't necessarily horrible at it... They're just not as good as the player that has the Sig skill. That's how it should be. In 2k you're horrible at this aspect of the game regardless of rating because you don't have the Sig skill. Period. Funny thing is that might actually be okay if the signature skills actually worked. But when you a advertise that for 7000 vc plus the cost of raising your attributes to the necessary level that you'll be able to have 100% decrease in defensive penalty then shoot 35-40% in those situations it's like.... That's not what you said. Lol while those are great numbers for a real life player in that situation, that's not what you said. I get that it all goes into the random number generator anyways, and that's fine. But when you said 100% that's what I paid you for. Oh, but the other thing is when you're wide open your going to actually miss more shots because it's a glitch and oh yeah they're not going to patch the game out give you your vc back for a Sig skill you're not going to use.... Yeah. Lol! **** that. And that's just one example.

Yeah, like without closer there is no way you'll make a shot or a free throw when the game is on the line, even with maxed out shooting and free throws.

I know this doesn't explain this happening every time it happens to you, but the Scrapper Sig Skill adds 15 attribute points to speed and something else while in loose ball situations...like i said, i'm not stating every time you are d*cked over its because of scrapper but it might have something to do with it.
2nd, although we do get screwed in these situations(me too), you have to admit that crazy 30 foot long slide we get, isn't too shabby.
