Then buy MLB The Show, this is a retro game and part of a retro title is to capture what made the original series unique. And a big part of RBI was the simplistic graphics and simplistic play backed by a fantastic stats engine.
Let's face it, if they had went the super realistic, scan-all-the-players route, etc then everyone would have just screamed it was a crappier version of MLB The Show that was trying to trick people into buying by using an old school NES name.
It'd have been a massive failure and rightfully so...they made the right call on this..
