Its not just that, PSN goes down for maintenance often. Its not a huge deal, but if that happens you can't play your franchise that night. That could be frustrating, especially if you don't have a lot fo time to play. Your own internet could go down, or your router could break. I've gone through multiple routers and have no wifi for days while I get a new one.

Its a legitamate concern, but not as big as Perfect Zero is making it out to be. Think about every other game ever. Think about a game like Titanfall, Xbox Live was having major issues when it came out and will go down again in the future, either due to maintenance or malfunction, during that time Titanfall is unplayable. That sucks, but its part of online gaming. Its something that Perfect Zero just needs to accept as being part of taking franchise online. If it is going to involve multiple users you can't have multiple save files or else everyone in the league would need to sync their file every time someone changes anything.

Its why there needs to be parity between the modes, if they are both being called Franchise. The difference between online and offline should be multiplayer (and internet required features) or single player. If that was the case there wouldn't be as many issues with the changes.

agree, but when developing for 3 different platforms deadlines need to be met online crowd would be just as upset if these issues werent implemented into the mode

The thing is, if the AI logic was a copy of the current offline franchise logic no one would have noticed unless the devs said they scratched the logic improvements entirely since they couldn't get them into offline as well.

I don't think that is a better solution at all though, its nice that at least some improvements that have been asked for a long time made it in at all.

It is just weird knowing that when I play RTTS I will se different lineup logic than I will when I play a single player online franchise. That is just weird, I can't put it more eloquently honestly.

Why wouldn't you just use 30 team control in franchise and use the player lock for the RTTS gameplay? That way you can set the lineups however you want.

I am really excited that there is editable potential because some of the players potentials are WAAAAYYYYY off, especially the A's players who never get any love in this game, but the Mets players are off too and a few other players like Billy Butler, a B potential?!?!?! but glad theres editable potential cause that definitely needs changing, i do understand theres a two weeks till this game ships but those potentials are way off

I'm excited for on line franchise. Now it won't be trade after trade in on line leagues , now it will be about building your team to stay competitive. Trying to mix and match the veterans with the up and coming players on your team, while staying in your teams salary cap.

Hopefully everything meshes well and us people that have been waiting a long time for multiple seasons on line will be in baseball heaven.
IF U CAN'T BEAT ME LEGIT, CAN U ACTUALLY BEAT ME???

But what is the point in playing your Franchise online if youre only going to play the CPU?

All the features that are included in online franchise that were missed in offline franchise including all of the integration available on theshownation. Plus if you are playing between your Vita and PS3/4 you don't have to worry about uploading and downloading from the cloud. Just log into online franchise and play your game!

Also, can you play pvp online franchise games against people on their ps3/ps4 if you are on the vita? Can people on ps3 play against people with a ps4 in online franchise? Or do you both have to be using the same platform? I have to imagine that you and your opponent have to be on the same platform.

To gain the benefits of online franchise.

Custom league setup for one....and the benefits of what has been worked on for the online franchise as well.

If it had Manage only Mode....it would be a no brainer for me.
But most play out the games in a "regular" fashion and it's a good alternative.

What's the difference in where you are playing your games...?...online of offline ....if it works for you?

I guess I just dont see the draw of playing online by yourself just to gain a few features.

But each is to their own I guess.

Its been stated many times on here though that it does matter where you play your games since both offline and online offere different features. They offer different advantages and disadvantages.

If Curahee for instance doesn't care about the different features, he might care about having to be online just to access his franchise.

Curahee doesn't see those exclusive features as enough to go online with franchise. I'm inclined to agree, but I'm way too curious to see the new logic so I'll go online even if that new logic sucks in the end which is entirely possible as with anything.
