Set your option defense one way or another, helps you know what your ai defenders will do and helps make the stop more often

Pinch the D Line, have a nickel/dime corner on blitz or contain

That's weird because I think the option offense is the easiest to stop. Keep a spy and bring 6 or 7 and they wont beat you.

I agree..so easy to stop! Set your option D to aggressive in the Gameplan options and then just focus on blitzing and pounding the RB.

I play in the ACC and demolish Georgia Tech every year. You will notice that Georgia Tech (and most option teams, for that matter) tend to rise to the top in dynasties, though.

Using the option gameplanning makes this WAY too easy (same for spread option teams) so for a challenge I leave it on balanced so that I don't know who'll get the ball. It's still (usually) really easy to stop option teams, but occasionally I'll get gashed.

Unless you (for some reason) can't stop option teams, I'd recommend not using this setting as it makes stopping options brokenly easy and removes all challenge (honestly it's almost as bad as playing the game on default varsity if you use the option gameplanning).

Unless you handicap yourself, the CPU will always be easy to beat.

I control the LDE and run commit to the right. They might break a few plays to my side, but everything on the other side gets shut down. They can't throw either, so I play zero coverage on the back end.

I bring pressure with the LBs...if they run the traditional triple option wishbone type formation i will control the LB covering the middle RB...if there is motion i will shoot to that outside gap...if there is no motion i will bum rush the FB....easy stopping them.

Funny someone mentioned it...because after 20+ seasons Navy is a true powerhouse in my dynasty and playing as Texas in the Big 12 I have gone back and forth with Kansas State for conference championships. Kansas State runs the multiple O but for some reason always brings the option attack.

3-4 odd cover two crash middle with the line bring up the lbs and press coverage.

Go Jacket! Set it to pitch man, pinch middle and run commit middle.
