my Bayern career is getting a bit stale at the moment, so I started one with Liverpool.

Here's why:

1. Right on the cusp of being a good team. They are right there in position to qualify for Champion's League. They have the players to do it. However, I don't think they have they players to win it, nor finish in the top 3 (I know it is usually top 4, but I'm aiming a bit higher).

2. Not a huge budget. They only start with 18 mil sterling. That's not enough to bring in the 3-4 players I want to bring in during the first season.

3. Almost an addendum to the first point, they need work in several positions. I like that I have Suarez and Sturridge to start my career. Just need to fill out behind those two a bit more.

Here is my plan:

I switched the formation to a 4-4-1-1 to take advantage of my two star forwards. They do not need any help scoring goals at the moment. So let's start with the midfield.

MIDFIELD:

My first and primary target is Toni Kroos. In my opinion, he is arguably the most complete midfielder in the game (after a couple seasons). He is a hammer on free kicks and long shots (I've seen up to 98 shot power, 96 long shots, 94 curve, 96 FK Accuracy), he has extremely good passing, and he is young. He is the perfect replacement for Gerrard (even an upgrade as Kroos starts out rated higher).

My second target is to bring in Bruma. Ever since I found out about him, he has always been on my team. He starts out around 77ish, and grows to the low 90's in a couple seasons. Let's face it. Allen, Henderson, Gerrard, and Coutinho are not an acceptable championship winning midfield. Bruma will play LM with Kroos and Coutinho/Gerrard playing CM's. My RM target is still in the air at the moment, although Bruma can play RM as well with no problems.

My third target is still to be singled out. I need a GOOD LB. Jose Enrique is not the caliber back I want to have as my starter for every game. As a sub, he is fine, but not the ideal player. I am still hunting for someone (trying to keep this realisticish).

I am going to also try to keep this realistic. So no, I will not be signing Ronaldo or Messi if I have the funds. They would never come to Liverpool. Kroos has been angling for a move to the PL (if you believe the media). Although MANU seems to be his preferred destination, he could go to a number of teams.

As of right now, I have played two games for the EPL. I had a 3-0 win over Stoke and a 4-0 win over Aston Villa. My next game is home against Manchester United. I predict a tight game, with Liverpool coming out on top 2-1. Goals will be scored by Suarez and Coutinho for Liverpool, and the lone United goal will come from Rooney.
