This is one of the worst game songs selections ever. Well, BRMC's "Rival" is good and Broken Bell's "Holding on for Life" is excellent, though the latter doesn't fit at all with baseball.
I guess that's Columbia/Sony for you. Most good alternative bands are now on indie labels.
This is the superb "Holding On For Life" for anyone interested. It is completely irrelevant with the baseball "theme":

Usually, minus a few exceptions over the last couple of years, most of the music in the show is pretty bad, by bands no one has ever heard of.

Im sure there are a few here that are decent, but thank God PS3 still has the ability to add your own music!

I listen a lot to Sirius Xm's Alt Nation, and most of these bands are not unknown to me. I recognized "Dangerous" from that dev vid a few months back, had a feeling it would be on here. As of last week, it's currently #2 on their Top 18 countdown. It's been on there for like 2 months too.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Broken Bells, Sir Sly, and Band Of Skulls are all fairly known bands on Alt Nation Those songs by Sir Sly and Broken Bells were on the countdown multiple times in 2013. Good stuff. Personally I wouldn't say it's the most baseball music (even I tend to just play custom tracks almost exclusively haha), but it's not that bad.

Ive always liked how The Show would have unknown bands but then some of those bands would get more popular, it's like The Show scouted them lol...

BTW the song "Dangerous" has a WEIRD slightly erotic music video... however I did watch the whole thing because it continued to get stranger lol
