Re: MLB The Show 14 for Vita
Isn't it like the first option in the pause menu?
Here's just an example of a video I did back a couple of years ago. It's a nice feature to have on this device. I wish we could capture and save replays like the PS3 version though.

Re: MLB The Show 14 for Vita
It seems to really slow down whenever the camera turns to show the stands behind home plate. So, foul balls, home runs, and maybe (though I haven't seen this yet) plays at the plate.
I'm going to pull up last year's version to see if I can really see a difference between player faces and stadiums.
I can definitely tell you that the ambient sounds are much improved.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 14 for Vita
My pleasure. I just shot 3 minutes of CPU vs CPU footage (I can't conceive how to shoot it with any sort of quality if I'm playing) on my phone. It's by no means professional quality, but I think you get a decent idea of how the game looks.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 14 for Vita
Did you get a chance to compare the stadiums like you mentioned?

Re: MLB The Show 14 for Vita
Hmm, looks like they still haven't been able to work out the pixelated crowds with the Broadcast pitching cam. Of course, my guess is they intentionally do that otherwise the framerate would take a hit.
I'm really worn out by the Broadcast fielding camera as well, so the new Dynamic camera will be a welcomed addition. Yet, it pains me that we can't get an authentic Broadcast fielding camera as seen on TV.
That ground rule double was alarming, as far as how high it shot off the warning track. Better than than grass though, so I'm sure it's fine.
It largely looks the same as years past with the new presentation (I wonder, is the yellow text for "OUT" and such specific because the Pirates were playing?), but the big addition this year is carrying saves over year-to-year and to the PS4 version, so it will be a worthy pickup in the end anyway.

Re: MLB The Show 14 for Vita
I had an 11 minute video, but it somehow only ended up as 3 1/2 minutes.
Was trying to show the menus, length of time to load, etc. But... whatever.

Looks great! All over it on Tuesday.
