Any way to get auto playcalling to work in MyCareer?

After four patches auto playcalling, and playcalling in general, is bugged in MyCareer. Are there any tips or tricks to get it working?

You have too, before every game go into options and select auto and what ever options, like pay vision... every game.

I had to do this last year too, I won't next year. Trust me, this game has so much half *** crap that never gets fixed. Now the servers go down and I loose progress on a game which was completed, only to be force to replay. The first game my team shot ok and the other team was average. The replay, my team could not hit a lay up, and could rebound or contest shots. They also could hold onto the ball.

I am a dev and understand how hard it is to write decent Ai, but 2K is in need of someone with a background in statistics.

Next year will be good because I am not giving 2K one dime. If I end up getting the game because the forums vouch for the game, I will buy used... my money is not going to 2K.

Settings don't save, but that's a different matter. There are very very few plays called on auto, and 9/10 break before they even start. Works like a charm in scrimmages, and I think it might be a memory issue - same reason why they use lots of low-res textures in games, why we can't have player of the game highlights, why the gametracker won't track **** when we're on the bench etc.

The whole changing the settings before each game thing doesn't work for me. Plays only run in two different situations. One, is if I just stand there offense, eventually some play art will show up telling me to cut. But after I cut, nothing happens. The other is on fastbreaks. I wish it would work if I just set it for every game, but it doesn't seem to.

the only way ive gotten settings to stick is to change them before you play the rookie showcase. after that you have to change them every game if you change your mind about something.

Playcalling in MyCareer is completely broken and makes the mode totally void of any realism.

I honestly don't see how anybody can play it.

Plays run perfectly in scrimmage. But in games it's an absolute trainwreck and kills the otherwise excellent foundation the team has laid out.

Too bad THE GAMES themselves are unbearable.

Exactly. Even though some people think sideline inbounds plays, the motion offense and freelance count as if plays are running (they run regardless if you have plays running or not), automatic playcalling DOES NOT WORK. Period. This means unless you're calling plays, the team doesn't run any which completely ruins the game mode for playing anything except point guard.

Until this is fixed the game mode is officially broken.

I'm a SG and I can call plays when I have the ball, but the plays break down almost immediately.

The PG will hardly ever call a play when I have it on automatic playcalling and when he does the play will break down. The only play that works is a fastbreak screen play that seems to start sometimes.

Overall playcalling seems to be broken. I can't believe that they couldn't clear this up in four patches.

I've posted countless Twitter questions to Ronnie, 2K support and Chris to find out why it hasn't been fixed but I've gotten no answer.

Twitter is just useless when trying to communicate with 2k. Ronnie is a douchebag, 2k support is awful and all ld does is retweet everyone's MyTeam lineups.

It sucks that they have not gotten the play calling in My career worked out. I thought this game on next gen would be so promising initially. Since the play calling is broken I have barely played the mode. I really hope that they iron out all these issues in 2k15.

2K keeps leaving us on the sinking ship. We pay money they deliver crap. They could fix it but they would rather nickel and dime us with VC.

I keep loosing game progress and points when there servers go down. I really hope, but doughty, that NBA Live is good, really good. I am not a fan of EA, but right now I am not a fan of 2K.

All they had to do is make a good game every year and I would have paid 60 buck for a new copy. Now they will not get a dime from me. Worse case... used.

Is there a way to keep the playbook changes in MyCareer? My Player is a SF.
