I plan on starting my franchise with the Twins once the OSFM rosters are out. Twins have a really good Farm system. I'll just play my season along and improve through my minor league system. I will try to make a block buster trade (it's part of my ritual in the show is to always make a block buster trade) and take it from there!... so PUMPED!

I couldn't agree with you more....I have NEVER ever played a franchise with my A'sI'm probably in the minority when it comes to never playing a season with your favorite ball club. I'm a huge Mets fan, but after years of playing with them and watching almost every game, I just like to switch it up when it comes to MLB the Show.
When I end up picking up the game, I plan on using either the Dodgers or a lowly ranked club.
As for my annual attempt to complete a full season with the 'Stros, as always Lucas Harrell will be removed from the major-league roster...will probably unload Feldman and Jerome Williams as wellSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Pirates. Probably look for a power hitting 1B. Other than that, I'm not sure yet.Comment

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
First actions question for an A's user:
What kinds of trades, if any, might make sense for OF Michael Taylor, who had a nice Spring Training but has been designated for assignment and clearly doesn't have a home in the OF, which has designated Fuld as it's #3 and has Gentry on the mend?
I'm relatively new to baseball as a serious fan, and the logic of trades and roster management is still a bit overwhelming. I'd love to hear any suggestions.Comment

I wouldn't be using the A's but they're my fav team so hopefully my opinion counts for something...as for your question, it depends on a few things...first being if you're gunna mimic real-life's injuries, I would imagine I'd need a back-end of the rotation starter unless you trust Chavez....I have never been a Sogard fan so maybe a lefty-hitting 2B to platoon with callaspo? I don't think Taylor wont be rated as anything special (maybe a high-C pot) so I wouldn't expect anybody impactfulFirst actions question for an A's user:

Yeah, I could see looking for a #6 SP or something like that, or a relatively lowly-rated lefty specialist. That's what's fun to me about OAK, is that they build like that.I wouldn't be using the A's but they're my fav team so hopefully my opinion counts for something...as for your question, it depends on a few things...first being if you're gunna mimic real-life's injuries, I would imagine I'd need a back-end of the rotation starter unless you trust Chavez....I have never been a Sogard fan so maybe a lefty-hitting 2B to platoon with callaspo? I wish I knew more about Sogard, but I don't, and I would like to improve there. Even so, their lineup is really solid top-to-bottom.

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
Opening-Day Roster would have 3 bullpen lefties making it (Doolittle, Pomeranz who you can maybe transform into a 5th starter? and Abad who would most likely be the lefty *specialist* you speak of)....Sogard is extremely scrappy and is a decent defender but wont provide much with the batYeah, I could see looking for a #6 SP or something like that, or a relatively lowly-rated lefty specialist. Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions
For my second franchise I originally was going to go with the Mets but now Im heavily leaning towards the Cubbies... they have less stardom at the moment and I'm looking to build with a fantasy-est feel with a cheap NL team.
Yes, I do have guidelines lol
Now im trying to decide whether to wait for the OSFM Rosters or not?
With my Red Sox franchise I definitely am but with my second one I think Ill wait til the first roster update then dive in.
Reasons being to keep the two very different. Ones a realistic extremely deep franchise and the other would be a cheap rebuild team with some unrealistic moves...
My first move with the Cubs was gonna be to trade Castro (not a fan) and get Arenado from the Rox along with someone else maybe, this would have to be a 3-way trade though since Tulo has the Rox SS anchored downComment
