Alright...this thread is for the actual working portion of the O.S.F.M for 2014.

Here are the links to the charts.
I may tweak them a bit as I do some testing...but for now we could work off these and adjust as necessary.
You can also use the MLB equivalent lines(top lines) if you would like to just rate a player as you feel he would perform in the MLB if he was put in there TODAY.

FOR THE WORK CHART.....
WHITE= Yet to be started or I just haven't been updated by the editor yet
YELLOW= Work In Progress....the editor(s) are working on these areas
GREEN=Completed work.....the COMPLETED/IMPORT column is for when the team is actually imported in the set.....All greens mean done....that column means imported as well.

As usual....this is a tremendous project that many community members participate in.
I would truly like to thank everyone who helps out with these....both the members listed in the work charts and those who participate in the team threads.
It all goes into making a great community based roster. What I consider the best in sports gaming.
It's all because of the members who continue to help out year in and year out.

Yes...absolutely.
I'm not sure....It will be after testing if any.
seanjeezy was just noting some changes to pitchers(top end guys) in the base ratings this year.
I'm seeing how it plays out.
If anyone sees anything in regards to that...post it up!

From what I've noticed, the only tweaks are to the top end of the ratings (80+) and for pitchers only. I'll be investigating further and will post the results here.

The player select screen in batting practice mode shows the spray charts.

Wait, nevermind... the format is different this year so I guess you have to go into a game and look

Really? I guess load up two teams with CAPs then.

Knight, for player faces do you want them all to be created by users from OS or would it be ok to contact a creator from the vault and see if they'll let me use their created faces? Going through there are some pretty good ones I've found.

Yes.

On this...man do I wish they would put in another attribute for this....either another potential rating(actual...and displayed) and/or(even better IMO) a "probability" rating....that he would reach his potential.

This new potential rating makes it a lot hard to try and project these prospects. I'm going to do my best to not be a homer when creating some of these guys but I definitely have Lindor and Frazier at 90+.

sorry guys I might have missed this somewhere else in the forum, but as far as the rosters being done, if you guys are working on them for the ps3 version...how will that transfer to the ps4 version?

It will be downloaded on the PS4 after they do a few tweaks depending on the features still using the vault

Hey Knight,
I have a question for you about potentials, I sent it to Ramone in a PM but haven't heard back from. When you look at potentials in the player card does it show the potentials as a, b, c,etc or a+, a, a-, etc.? I think it would be cool if they show the pluses and minuses.
