I hope that what I have been reading in the PS3 forum is not true for the ps4 version. I hate the behind the batter HR Celebration camera...and if its true we cannot disable that for some reason, It is truly disappointing. Please if it is true devs....patch it in before or after release.

Thats interesting…i personally love the home run celebration when the swing matches the real guys.

I have the PS3 version and with they dynamic camera. Its almost unnoticeable. YOu are watching the ball not the guy. There does not seem to be a separate screen shot for it. Instead…the players sometimes will do their home run animation, however, it is happening very much in game. So you can easily NOT notice it.

The No-Doubter home run are No-Doubters not because the screen changes and you lose control. Its like real life..the No-Doubters are that way because you can visually see that there is not chance they are staying in the park.

Trust me…you will not have an issue with it. This is clearly the best version of the Show. Best presentation and most fluid gameplay

Title makes sense to me, but that's probably because I'm aware of the issue. It needs a question mark at the end is all.

I didn't know hate and loathe had different meanings and actually would have thought loathe was worse than hate.

We need to be able to turn off the HR cam. It takes away from the experience. Please just give us the option to turn it off.

Yeah, I never knew how much I appreciated the option to turn it off until I had to have it on. Seems like such an odd design choice given SDS tends to not take away options once they are added to the game.

I don't understand the hatred towards the HR cam. I love it, and I hope they continue to improve it (i.e. splash cams, different shots).

I hate (loathe?) the HR cam.
When I play a sports game I want it to look as much like a broadcast as possible.

When a ball is hammered for a HR in real life the camera man does not let you see the guy admiring the HR off the bat.
That happens on the replay. I would even hit with the view from behind the pitcher if it was easier just to make it look more like real life.

Other things that would make the broadcast more realistic would be not putting MLB The Show 14 (or 15, 16, 17, etc.) logo on the display. There is no network called "MLB The Show 14", especially when I am playing 2017 season in franchise.....but I digress.

Its not hatred for the HR Cam per se, its the fact that its always been optional.

SCEA simply dont take options away from the user, except maybe in this case it seems they might have?

I have no time for the HR Cam myself and thoroughly dislike it, so if this is really the case in terms of us being forced to have it on for every HR, then colour me very disappointed.

That said, the PS4 version will have had an extra months dev time from the PS3 so maybe, just maybe, the option to choose will still be there, as it has been for years.

I wrote this post on little sleep, and you can tell, the title is confusing... Anyways...that is what I was trying to get across, I am simply worried that they will take the option away like they seem to have on the PS3 version. Of course some of you guys like it. And of course some of us don't. Just let us have the option to disable it if we want. To some of us, it would be like forcing us to bat in first person without camera options, ok well maybe as bad as that, but you get our point.

I really hope this gets fixed for the PS4 version.

I also hope we can disable that obnoxious blue ring around the fielders as well.

add me to this list, the cam as executed now im hearing doesnt even show you where the ball lands. thats a huge part of the fun in hitting a homer.

I like the HR Cam, but I was surprised they took out the option to turn it off.

It's playing the HR cam for all no doubt HR's when it should be playing for only 25% of them this will be corrected in the next title update.
