    **POTENTIAL** MLB 14 Roster Editor

OK guys whats up? So if any on you been to the Madden/NBA/NCAA threads you might remember that i was always in the middle of PS3 roster editing with a program. I know what these files should look like and they all look similar to an MLB the show roster file. BUT, just cuz i am always involved doesnt mean i know how to read a bunch of binary codes and hexadecimal strings. So im lost with even attempting to make a tool.

THIS IS WHERE THE GREAT OPERATION SPORTS COMMUNITY COMES INTO PLAY

I need people that can help (read binary codes etc etc in a hex editor or etc.) to reply. Or reach out to anyone that can help. I am willing to work extremly close with the person. Please OS, please help me, but even better all of the great roster makers out there.

LETS TRY AND HIT A GRANDSLAM, DONT LET ANYONE DOWN

I have no idea how to read code but is the goal of this to be able to make manual changes to a roster file? (Stats, height, weight, etc..)

If i knew computers, i CERTAINLY would

But could i make 1 request? PLEASE PLEASE add where, like in the madden editor, you can export players from previous years and import them into new rosters. Thatd help greatly when they remove people who havent played in a year at the major league level.

Anything i can do to help that doesnt require programming knowledge id be in

I remember speaking to someone on here about this a year ago and was told that, the unlike the EA games, MLB The Show data files are encrypted.

Don't know if what I was told is true but if it is then making an editor would be (at best) very difficult, if not impossible!!

Contact Vlad (REDitor@ya*** or vlad-2727@ya*** ). He created the editors for the 2KSports NBA Series (PC, xBox & PS3) and their MLB 2K Baseball games. He makes exceptional editors.

He does charge for them but they are certainly worth the price.

I contacted him earlier this year regarding MLB The Show and he was interested in giving it a shot but I convinced him he should wait until after MLB The Show 14 hit the streets. I actually sent him a file of MLB The Show 13's base roster but I am not sure he ventured into it.

He is truly an exceptionally talented fellow with these editors, as anyone who has used his REditor or the MLB 2K ones will testify to, but I think he needs to be heavily incented to undertake the task. I think he truly does this for the financial reward which is totally fine by me.

I would think surveying around to see how many of us would be inclined to purchase a high quality editor for this game could be enough incentive to have him at least investigate undertaking such a task.

Wheres the one for mlb 2k for ps3??? ive been looking everywhere for one.

And as far as the show editor, i think what we need most is the ability to import the guys they take out from year to year. Everything else is pretty editable from what ive seen. id just really like to be able to add the ivan De jesuses and matt hagues and guys like that for accurate franchises that have been removed.
