Manual injuries in Rtts?
Does anyone know if you can manually disable players in rtts like last year's game? It was nice to be able to manipulate the roster/lineup. And it was also useful to avoid being traded or teammates being traded. I saw on the forum that it's still there for franchise but haven't heard about rtts. Just hoping it's still there for rtts.Tags: None -

Re: Manual injuries in Rtts?
Because it gave us an option to correct awful trades that the CPU makes? Why does SCEA care what we do with our offline RTTS games? This attitude makes no sense lol.
Hopefully this will be corrected in a patch or something, I loved being able to do this last year.
Team trades away your best player for garbage? Re-load save, give said player a stomach ache, trade doesn't happen.Comment

Problem is, it's broken...
I had 5 guys injured who just sit around on my bench bc the CPU programming isn't smart enough to understand they should be DL'd so it takes away from your usable roster thus making it fairly pointless over time, especially if it's an injury longer than a 15 day DL stint...
And if they couldn't figure out how to make it smart enough to program in to DL guys after you manually injure them, then what's the point?!--If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it you don't need it. But if you need and you don't have it, you want it. If you don't have any of it, then you really don't know how to get more of it to get started then anyways now do you? --Comment

Re: Manual injuries in Rtts?
Make sure when you injure them that it is done on a 'fresh' day. If it is done on a day where there has already been games played, they won't go to the DL for some reason. If it is done on a 'fresh' day, they will.Denver Broncos

There is a way you can make them go to the DL instead of take up space on the bench.

So what you're saying is that if I don't check each teams calendar and manually injure them on that specific team's "off day" then it won't work?
Also, does that work in ALL game modes? (Asking specifically for RTTS)--If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it you don't need it. But if you need and you don't have it, you want it. If you don't have any of it, then you really don't know how to get more of it to get started then anyways now do you? --Comment

No he's saying injure them before they play their game for the day. Do it as soon as you finish one day and begin the next day.Comment

Re: Manual injuries in Rtts?
This may work in Franchise but it certainly doesn't in RTTS...they just sit on the bench regardless of if the injury is 20 days or 150--If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it you don't need it. But if you need and you don't have it, you want it. If you don't have any of it, then you really don't know how to get more of it to get started then anyways now do you? --Comment

Re: Manual injuries in Rtts?
Yeah, having the game helps, and I tried that...
Ex: played my game on a Wed, after my game sim rest of day...go to injuries and injure a guy and then play through that day...
I even tried it with a team on their off day as well.
Neither way worked. Both times I go back and those players are still sitting on the bench taking up space being a complete waste.
It's just amazing to me because there are SPs that are out 100 days and they just stick them in the corner of the dugout or something.
I even tried it with my team my RTTS guy is on and NOPE it wouldn't even work on that one either--If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it you don't need it. But if you need and you don't have it, you want it. If you don't have any of it, then you really don't know how to get more of it to get started then anyways now do you? --Comment

Re: Manual injuries in Rtts?
UPDATE:
Figured out it does in fact work BUT with a couple caveats...
You have to remove ALL of the injuries prior to that day that were manually done and you must move the screen back to the DL screen before exiting, or at least that's how it seemed to function with me.
Thanks for the help guys...it was driving me nuts!
My only issue now is that I can only manually injure 5 guys and my bullpen stinks!--If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it you don't need it. But if you need and you don't have it, you want it. If you don't have any of it, then you really don't know how to get more of it to get started then anyways now do you? --Comment
