I Agee if nba live can get the graphics and gameplay down I will most likely switch 2k this year sucks with the vc only think 2k has for it is graphics I mean the rosters are still outdated

the thing I also hate about 2k is they downgraded the rosters from MyCareer, in the last gen you could start a new career and go up against the UPDATED rosters, not the outdated ones like current gen which doesn't have rudy gay on the kings nor derrick williams, so if you get stuck on a sucky team, they dont have their star and you're sh*t outta luck for the season.

I've had no problems starting new careers with updated rosters. Idk what you're doing wrong but mine are fine.

Anytime I started, they'd have D rose on bulls, Kobe on lakers, Rudy on the raptors, i think for story purposes they locked every player in their respective teams before all the trades, Gortat was still on the suns for me as well

Well, Rose and Kobe are still on their respective teams so idk what's wrong about that. But my rosters have been updated just fine. I have a my career on the kings with Rudy and Williams both there. Are you connected to the internet when you start?

about 460-500 bucks. I spent a lot of it initially on bull**** team packs like the pacers and gold and silver packs. I was real bad with choosing how and when to pick my packs. I once spent 60 bucks on the knicks pack because i needed greg anthony and wasn't getting him to unlock ewing. I spent 40 bucks on miami because i had everyone except lebron, wade, and ray allen. Then i got a little bit smarter about how choose my packs.

With the super team i use now, i probably could have assembled them for about 150-200 bucks. Oh well, you live and you learn.

Oh and as for paying for something i can grind for, i don't have time to farm. I work in a warehouse at night and take college courses in the evening. the 1 or 2 hours i have for myself i might as well pay and enjoy the game mode without wasting hours on it for mt points.

Zero bucks all I do is open historic packs and get the players you dont need to complete the pack, ive gotten Larry johnson scottie jordan mitch richmond and many others, you dont need to spend money to get a good team

Some people don't understand that once you get into it it becomes an addiction/obsession and the money is just a way of making it go away, getting relief. Not right but that's what happens.

Not necessarily, there is a concrete goal to be reached: Diamond Lebron, Jordan, Melo, Rose...and after that nobody is looking to piss away more money.

So you say, but that concrete goal costs thousands for virtual cards. Many people have concrete goals when going to vegas such as winning 2 grand. It is not as concrete as collecting all the diamonds, but you created that goal because 2k made that the most coveted goal. In vegas it is becoming rich. So yeah that 2 grand wont make you rich, and it will most likely be pissed away.

Point is you should not get addicted to anything, free or not. I would hate to get addicted to spending my hard earned money on something so silly. It is obvious many who do are doing it on mommy and daddy's credit cards.
