Much higher fidelity = much higher data amounts and need for a consistent flow rate online.
The sad bit is that unless the Feds change course with their treatment of net neutrality, online games of all kinds are in for a rude kick in their collective junk.
Unless you pay more, of course. Per game fees online anyone?
