You guys are all Debbie downers. Since Madden 12, every game has been fun and they keep being better. Combine that with the jump to next gen (I held out on the first iteration) and Madden 15 should be awesome. Personally, I can't wait.

There comes a point where we have to realize that Madden is just "Madden". And until there are tangible, structural changes in EA's take on an NFL simulation we have to accept this fact. That doesn't make Madden a bad game, per se. It's not. I have personally enjoyed Madden on the X1. It's a solid game to me because I know what Madden is, and more importantly, what Madden isn't. I have been playing Madden for about 15 years now and I know what to expect when I drop 60$ on Madden. I don't bang my head against the wall anymore. I get my enjoyment out of it, then I move on...It is what it is.
That being said, the fact that defense was mentioned in the opening salvo is a pleasant surprise as that area hasn't been touched in what seems like 10 years. If the defense can come close to containing the offense this year then that's a win in my eyes.Comment

All of that new stuff sounds nice, but for me, the biggest question Madden NFL 15 has to answer is whether or not auto-substitutions will finally work in franchise mode.
There's no point to having full rosters or even depth charts if none of your substitutes ever see the field until your starters have lost their stamina and been carted off the field with an injury.Comment

EIther you work for EA or are one of their game changers lol There always one comment like this. I admit the end of the video looks somewhat exciting but its just a peek. I'll wait for more until I pass judgment. Not fair right now.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 15 Trailer - See The Transformation This June, Releases on August 26th
For a Panther fan having Luke in the teaser trailer is nice. But as Madden fan of 20+ years. I'm not falling for it anymore. Madden 25 gameplay was a killer for me. AI int the ball like it has hands of glue and Moving down the field on offense against the AI was a headache. The fun has been taken out of Madden for me now. The AI is just to god like on D and offense this year. If they lower the int ratio of int the AI gets and put more batting down the ball animations into the game this year. Then maybe the fun might come back. But the ball hawk AI crap is way over done in my opinion. But I'm leaving EA a little hope for a good game this year. Having pregame and halftime shows is nice and good graphics. But if gameplay on both D and O ain't balance out to where the AI ain't mugging my WRs and TEs from start to finish. Then game is not playable for me and it ain't fun no more. Hoping right now tho.Last edited by PantherBeast_OS; 04-28-2014, 05:19 PM.Comment

Just had a sneaky suspicion if the Seahawks won the SB, the defensive changes being worked on at the time would be marketed/hyped along with the Seahawks. They go hand in hand.Comment

Not surprise if it is. But hoping a little that the DBs running the WRs routes days are over. I'm so sick of the AI running step for step the WR route and mugging my WRs 75% of the time. It's plain annoying.Comment

Is it just me or was the super-speed head turn really creepy....
I doubt the game will look like this only because it didn't say real game render or anything like that to prove it was real.

Originally posted by IGNEA is promising the "most immersive defensive gameplay control in franchise history" with Madden NFL 15, as well as a new broadcast presentation, teaming up with ESPN again.
Okay, IGN - you can't just say that to sports gamers without clarifying that "ESPN" refers to the in-game broadcast presentation and not something like ESPN radio integration in the menus. Because the former is something a lot of people would really like to see, particularly given NCAA Football's demise, and the latter is entirely 'meh' lol.
One more thing I want more information on, I suppose.Comment

Nice stuff but if they don't fix scripting, the bad commentary, and rigging the game for online cheese, then it doesn't mean anything.
By the way, the cover vote starts on May 8th.INACTIVEComment

Just a new way to put yourself into the game...nothing more.------------------------------“I have received offers from Florida State, Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Florida.
I like all of those schools. They are all respectable programs.
They have all won national championships, except for Auburn.-Christian Smith (Andre's Brother)

The player models better look like this. No reason they shouldn't.Last edited by CaliDude916; 04-28-2014, 07:02 PM.Comment
