My Nuggets pulled off two wins in a row vs Minnesota (by 3) and the Knicks (by 5), I was feeling pretty good. Then I sim a few games and then take on the Nets, destroyed by 12 points. They hit a lot of shots and I missed a lot.

PF Anderson is a rebound monster. I am still learning what makes this team tick. My record is 8-14. Still plenty of room for improvement.

Vergil is one hell of an athlete too! I picked the Nuggets as my underdogs in the West. You got plenty of things going on with that line up

High pick and rolls with Cabri Coke and your big men will always make the defense protect the middle of the floor because your bigs are very athletic (Whitaker, Anderson) that will leave plenty of room for Grinnage and Deandre Ray to get easy looks. Don't look at Rays overall rating...I scored 30 with him twice!

As a matter of fact with that team you should be running PnR about 80% of the time. Grinnage isn't very athletic. Deandre can handle but he's not a good passer. So I would call plays for Coke. Most of his plays are PnR

Yeah, I have to get Coke more involved, I will try that. My bigs are killing it. I will be playing more games than I planed on.

I am still kinda learning the game, working on running plays and such. I haven't really played much 2k basketball in the past few years. These past three or four games I have played, things kinda clicked.

Cabri Coke is the DC4 version of Augustin. He can handle, pass, shoot, rebound a lil of everthing.

Manually call a few plays for Coke when he's in the game to create the same mismatches on the wing and to get those side PnR going that will have defenders scrambling.

Once you get used to calling a few plays here and there everything will open up.

Glad you back into 2k with us bro

Not neccesarily. I have Joseph Givens with Utah. He's another SF/PG and he's currently averaging 18/8/6

Augustin not a clear cut superstar and he may not wind up being better overall than Coke. And just like Blindside said Joseph Givens is no slouch and neither is Jeffries that plays on the Pacers...gotta expand you minds my friends

I can't.. I have a man crush on Augustin man!!! He plays like a superstar when I play him. Ok maybe not quite superstar level every night. It's not just what he can do, it's his animations and shot style. Everything is just so smooth with him.

How you liking Shakur? That's another seldom talked about player but he is a beast!

So yeah i luv my kings I play 3min quarters and 29 games seasons so more offseason n more crunch time in game (i have a 12min asso with real roster and 76ers) I think im using vtcrb sliders but not sure.. anyway they play good n very challenging

We're 4-7 (12th in west)

Salim Shakur n Antwan Harper (even if he has low potential but im not supposed to know that lol) are the future of the franchise and the only 2 indisputable starters.


Basically Harper is a full court defensive pest and punishes most turnovers with brutal windmills (i was in awe the 1st time lol)
He loves to push up the tempo n finish at the rim or dish whenever possible but can rely on Shakur on the post when defense is set.
Harper is our best scorer (but 30th in the league and our best passer 11th in the lg)
Shakur is an animal lol.. Takes so much space ... n he loves to butcher guards on nasty picks ! Good post skills to develop. Likes to run in transition to take advantage of Harper's vision.

Pretty disappointed by Julius Goodwin n McCorvey (our 2 highest rated players) so far.

Shawn Porter can contribute from long range.

Fan favorites Wyaat Kirkpatrick and Cedric Harrington (he can't play but he's our mascott) lead our bench and should be part of the Kings for a long time.

Your players are very well created and look very realistic on the court.. all of them have their own style of play and it's a real pleasure.. specially when you love creating players yourself and when you know how bad 2k randomize CAPs look like.. I just wish Antwan didnt have such a 2k face just kiddin' i'll do with it :P Good job again

Yea man what i ve learned to do is to do what my coach used to tell me when I was playing....find their best rebounder and block his @ss out lol. It works most of the time...even with a guard. Those plays happen so fast though...but if you make a habit out of it you won't get killed as much.

Appreciate that bro! Definitely gonna have to try that out are getting killed down low in this game. Griffin was an excellent pick up though!

I just posted a fictional draft class titled: Realist Fiction Draft Class 1! ......Gamertag: ugongetdiswork4 .....its really the best fictional draft class on 360 currently. It has busts, stars, role players, fully worked tendencies, everything! Ten times better than CWSapp/Dreece! My players actually look real and have real names. One of their top players was roger fox!!! WTF is that a rick fox remake aha but seriously no hard feelings download it and try I can promise you will be satisfied!!
