Have any of you downloaded and played Dirk Hayhurst's Bush League game? It's $2.99 on the iTunes Store. I never heard of it before I listened to Friday's Effectively Wild podcast. He explained it as "Bejeweled on Steroids" with some RPGS elements. I believe it's iOS only and iPhone not iPad ready. I like his stories. His stories and insight into the baseball are very engaging and enlightening so I am going to try it out. Just wondering if anyone had played it yet.

I've played it all the way through. It was fun game to play. Basically, have a series of opponents to beat like "Skipper Jones", "Barry Byson", and "Mummy Ramirez" to make it out of the Bush Leagues.
Game is "Bejeweled" like as far as game play, but you want to accumulate strikeouts to knock the other player out of the game and hits in order to score runs. Plus, there is special powers and abilities called "PEDs" you can purchase to improve you player. "PEDs" in this case stand for Performance Enhancing Dots.
Not a game for the kids. Lots of drug and sex references.- LETS GO RED SOX!!!
