Sean: does the user agreement say anything about sony not delivering the product that they advertised?

Chat reps were also stating the download would be available once the store updates, which for many of us is early evening.

I'm in queue for a refund too. I was told right away that I would get refund if I was unhappy. At least, I'll get the hard copy later today and not wait 24 hours for it to be online and then install it.

I'm a System Administrator/Network Engineer and understand the delicacies of updating servers and such. However, this is something that should have been tested out prior to May 6th. The thing I can't stand is waiting to the last minute to do something in hopes that everything will go ok. Prior planning would have likely prevented this issue.

I like this take on it.

Also, it seems as though they are giving refunds to those who ask. While you may not get additional compensation and keep your download, they are being responsive to customer complaints. Don't forget that these support people are trained on what to say and are not given much more information otherwise. While it could be handled better, I am happy with customer service so far.

Now, if this is the case then I'm going to go from aggravated to pretty ticked off. Because if they're telling me it's not going to be available until after 6:00pm, I'm going to have to go through all the bs of getting a refund and then driving to a store and finding/buying the game.

I don't want to have to do that, but like I said before...I took a day off work for this.

I will never, ever, everevereverever...do a digital pre-order again. If I'm buying digitial it's going to be an impulse purchase on a game available immediately.

I got my refund! Someone asked about funds back to your bank account/credit card or PSN Wallet. I'm satisfied with it being in my PSN wallet. I'll probably use that up over time on sales and such. Probably not on a pre-order tho! haha!

LOL I wouldn't trust a refund 7 days.. imagine if you go out and buy the game and then you gotta sort out your refund crap with Sony and it doesn't happen. it isn't worth the stress

This won't make me very popular here and I understand why everybody is upset, but it's not as if the games release date has come and gone. Today was launch day and you guys will get your game today (hopefully). So don't expect compensation and stuff like that. I'm sure the game will be available for all today and that's all they owe us.

I've been through this with Sony before. If they refund your wallet, you won't see it for two weeks. It's not instantaneous.
