I'm glad this worked for you and this was my intention as well. I figured a quick call to my cc company and my refund would be set. However, Sony reps told me they would put a debt on my account and freeze it until that was paid off. That did cause me to freak out a little and get bent out of shape.

I had a nice conversation with the supervisor I spoke with. I've been on their end before in the past so I know that yelling at and disrespecting them gets me nowhere. I did mention to him that there are some frustrated people out there right now and it would go along way if he could possibly give his employees the authorization to make a refund instead of waiting for hours to get through to him and others in his position. He stated that he was going to look into it and if he got the go ahead, this is what he would do. So hopefully some of this frustration will now be alleviated with allowing the reps to issue the refunds.

Game kicks *** BTW. I'm playing it on my 102" projector right now and am completely floored.

Good luck to those of you still trying to resolve the issues and to the trolls telling everybody to calm down and quit overreacting, mind your own business and STFU.

I want to play The Show with the guy over 70. You're probably a great source of knowledge and I'd prefer talking to you to the 12 year olds that'll be dominating the mic in online games.

Here is some knowledge:

1. Over 70 and cataracts are common.

2. Over 70 and good chance of getting "floaters", the little things that move around in your eye that look like dirty baseballs.

3. Over 70 and playing online could result in waking up at your local hospital. Stress is not good for the over 70 crowd.

4. Over 70 and trying to get a game in before my time ends.

Nah, it isn't all that bad, but it isn't all that good either ;-)

Apples and oranges. You don't think Sony is trying to correct the issue? Don't compare something that your livelihood depends on to you getting a freaking video game. Sony is not trying to screw people. They will fix if you be patient. I'm too old for this ****. I'm out babies.

I don't rely on the standby feature actually working, so when the link is live I send the download through the app and I've had it work every single time.

I'm not sure if this is of any help to you at all, but I finally have the game in my downloads library about an hour ago. I purchased the physical copy and they issued me a refund, but it looks like it downloaded in my que and is ready to install. As long as you have automatic downloads turned on, I think it should do the same for you.
