I think the most we'd ever see is two which would still be nice and interesting. If they added like Buck and Aikman or a Fox crew then that would definitely add to franchise presentation. Any more than two though might be too much. Maybe you get a Fox crew and like Nessler and somebody for Primetime games and that could work out nicely with three crews for the three types of games. Definitely looking forward to see what they have in store.

I doubt we'll ever see more then 1 set of announcers..... because EA would have to pay all them.
its a nice thought though... because then they would have to add a cbs, fox, espn presentation and they don't even wanna use espn now and they have owned that since 2k stopped making games.Comment

Would anyone like a second set of announcers for the Playoffs and Super Bowl to give it a different atmosphere. Too bad Summerall passed away I would say have him and Madden do the commentary for those games.
Or since they are using the CBS guys in Nantz and Simms, make the the post season guys ( of course with more enthusiasm than they had in Madden 25) and give us another CBS crew for regular season. And I'm not saying EA has a deal with CBS, all I am saying is it would be easier to go to a CBS Production studio and have both announce teams their to record audio.
Just a thought.Texas A&M Aggies

Re: More Madden NFL 15 Details Revealed
Playing this guy on Xbox 360 and I kid you not, he has played 2-man under EVERY SINGLE PLAY THE WHOLE GAME. On offense he has twins left and runs stretch right and no matter if I run commit right he still gets outside and gains 12 yards every single play. He just ran strong close counter right for a 70 yard touchdown. I am sick and tired of playing backyard football. Not even Pablo was this frikin cheapComment

And when I say "you gonna get out of man at all?" he says not unless you beat it. THERE IS NO BEATING MAN TO MAN IN THIS GAME. I run curls they get picks. I run smash and throw corner it gets picked. I am not trying to run zin routes every damn play just to beat somebody online got damn. and then he runs the ball outside for 300 yards like its nothing. and im not bad at this game im 19-4 right now online.Comment

Re: More Madden NFL 15 Details Revealed
There is no knowledge of football needed to win in this game. All you needa know is man to man with blitzes wins on defense. running outside the tackles and having one guy do a corner, one do a post, one do a fly and one guy do a zin route will beat any coverage and you win on offense. this is insane. a 7 year old can beat bill belichick at maddenComment

Re: More Madden NFL 15 Details Revealed
Normally I would agree with you that this seems weird, but if you look at their past versions it makes complete sense. Last year, they focused on the read option because a bunch of teams started running that a few times a game. Now, defense is the latest craze since Seattle destroyed the "best offense ever" in the superbowl.Originally posted by TheSaints7They say that their focus is Defense but how does this bode for the Offense? IMO there are still many OL & WR issues that need sorting. So for them just too move from working on the O to the D in 1 season seems weird.
EA is just appealing to the latest fads, and all the new pass rush moves will just be a gimmick. The core gameplay will still suck.Comment

"Madden NFL 15 introduces a revolutionary crowd-sourced play-calling system with three distinct ways to run offense and defense: coach suggestions, Madden community picks, and concept plays providing a strategic edge to take on all rivals"
LOL.
I can't believe this is being even mentioned.
How about we just have gameplans that work come back so that the CPU play calling is better.
Humans don't need new ways to call plays, although tiered playcalling with defensive line stunts or protection schemes would be a much appreciated level of depth.
All I'm hoping is these defensive improvements mean that the pocket is smaller, the coverage is realistic and the pass deflection becomes the premier defensive play over the interception.Comment

Re: More Madden NFL 15 Details Revealed
Football alone is a very intriguing and complicated game. It’s a chess match.. If EA would just get the basic fundamentals down like blocking. tackling, running and passing that would make a good game alone.
Make player ratings actually matter to really separate the average from the good and good from the great this would make Front office moves, drafts and scheming a lot more meaningful.
I want to go into free agency really needing to add a player because I’m weak in a area. Example: If my OT sucks during the season I want to have the ability to scheme by double teaming or chipping the DE with the RB until I can replace him.
If my QB is bad and can’t make all the throws I should have to play within his limitations or suffer consequences. I like the defensive control they are talking about but that’s basically just football and should have always been in the game. I want gap integrity for LB/ DL and great interactions between defender and offensive units.. Do these simple things and pretty up the graphics and presentations and you’ll have a hit.
UHHHHH the truth! Its so refreshing!!
GAP INTEGRITY would be holy. Assigning double team blocks or having running backs actually be useful in pass pro…
RATINGS THAT MATTER.. OH LORD.
I've not been on this forum for nearly a year because I'm tired of requesting the same things, I can only hope this next Madden is finally the change we've been waiting on.Comment

Re: More Madden NFL 15 Details Revealed
Hopefully they'll make this game harder than 25. I had the user sliders on 0 and the CPU sliders maxed out and I was still winning games by 30+. Given, I don't play defense because the games take far too long when I do and I just don't enjoy playing defense.Comment

I wonder if that "Prima" partnership was something that took off and received good feedback.
The Prima guys basically find the exploits in the game and use them to have success against online opponents. They then make these youtube shows about how to exploit the game and have success.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

One thing that is important to understand, even though I'm totally on board with the frustration, is that the improvement of CPU playcalling would never be something they would advertise this early."Madden NFL 15 introduces a revolutionary crowd-sourced play-calling system with three distinct ways to run offense and defense: coach suggestions, Madden community picks, and concept plays providing a strategic edge to take on all rivals"

I'm far from Madden's biggest fan, but I'm pretty optimistic about next year. I just think that the further we get from last gen, the more we are going to see things like enhanced AI.Writer for Operation Sports

Re: More Madden NFL 15 Details Revealed
Good god. "Revolutionary crowd-sourced play calling system"? Is this the 'gimmick' this year? Ugghh. I'm always going to call my own plays. This does absolutely nothing for me. Just fix the gameplay. Remove the precision modifier garbage button, and remove the error prone spin move from my truck stick. Thank u. Revolutionary play calling? Cripes. Cause, that's what this game needs the most. Not realistic defense. Not individual player thought and movement. But, more diverse play calling options. Whatever, madden. U lost me at 'welcome'.
