    The Real NBA 2K14 (PS4)

FILE NAME: The Real NBA 2K14 (05-25-14)
    PS4 Gamertag: Real2KInsider
The most in-depth player ratings in sports gaming, developed using available statistics/video from Basketball-Reference, 82games, HoopData, DraftExpress, Synergy Sports, and NBA.com.
Contracts 100% accurate thanks to Mark Deeks and his website ShamSports. Adjustments to player/team options made to help eliminate poor Association AI.
Accurate lineup/rotation data and absolutely no missing players.

    ----------------

Finalizing my NBA 2K14 ratings (roster currently for PS4, my 360 copy won't get past load screen.)
Ratings are for all players who played 300+ minutes this year
PF seem to be rating lower than ever; 2K's formula for this position is desperately in need of an overhaul (Mid & 3pt need far more weight).

I believe that the contracts do not carry over to myGM mode, however is there a draft class you recommend to go with this roster?

At present I do not believe I am capable of making videos with the PS4, only livestreams.

In my more than 10 plus years as an OS member, I didn't expect to be on the same console with Rashidi's body of work. (He was always on XBOX so I thought he would go straight to XONE)

Rashidi on PS4? Man, I'm playing this game again!

This guy is the truth, guys.

                  A couple of questions though...

                  1) Are your rosters still meant to be played with minimal slider adjustment? On top of my head, I think it was 2K13 where someone was able to input your edits on the PS3. It played great with minimal adjustments, mainly the contact shot success and some shooting edits due to 2K's system.

                  2) Have you looked into the speed edits on this board? I believe they are really onto something.

If you will allow, I may use this one as base and do a roster with updated body edits. Really adds another layer to the realism and feel of the game.

Glad that you are on our side now dude.

                    Rashidi,

You didn't list every team, so are you still completing this roster project?

                    Thanks

I tweeted Rashidi and he said only the posted teams are finished. So yes, it's still a WIP. It'll be worth the wait though.

Is it available now? Tried searching it off 2K Share, can't find it.

Anyway, will wait for the full version before I put it my edits for personal use. (Body edits mainly)

I use all the same scales as 2K (w/ very slight modifications here and there), I'm just more consistent with their application. I've always viewed my rosters as "what 2K's would look like if 100% updated year-to-year".

                            2) Have you looked into the speed edits on this board? I believe they are really onto something.
No, I will look into it. I have a scale that 2K uses but for w/e reason they penalize PF/C and I think the game plays much more realistically with faster big men. In reality most PF/C are just as fast as SFs.

It will be awhile until the roster is done. If I'm not working I can rate a team in like 24-48 hours (varies by my interest level in that team). This week I'm working 6 days so it cuts into my timeframe. By the time 2014 ratings are finalized in like a month it will be draft time and then the offseason which would be a separate roster (given the inability to make CAPs I might just switch back to 360 for that roster).
