obviously with next gen the overall look and gameplay will be improved, but one thing i wish they would change in BAGM is the whole staff thing... this just adding stars thing kinda takes away from an entire element to the mode. The idea of being able to hire/fire real scouts, coaches, trainers would add so much... I would be fine with even computer generated staff to hire but in an ideal world it would be real staff from real teams... as a leafs fan being able to decide the fate of someone like randy carlyle would just add to the fun.

I also think it would be cool if when players retire a few would become options to hire as coaches/scouts etc... imagine getting deep into a GM mode, sidney crosby retiring and being a team to take a risk to hire the former star as your new head coach.

I totally agree with you. Being able to hit/fire head coaches, assistant coaches, scouts, hell even equipment guys would add an element of realism to gm mode.

Definitely real coaches and the coaches ought to have an impact on the style the team plays. Hiring a coach with a defensive reputation or vice versa would be cool.

it be cool if when a coaches contract is up there was an option to resign him or hire a new one and maybe your assistant gm had a list of a few coaches that fit your current teams play style... or like if coaches had reputations as good for young players development... good with vets... etc

hey should add a be a coach and be a gm mode right now its a dynasty mode. the be a gm you would hire/fire guys ,sign players and draft. the coach would tell you players that he would like you to trade, send to the minors, call up but you have the final decision.
the be a coach you make a game plan choose your starter pick the lines, tell the gm what kind of players you want and other things

great suggestions guys....but i dont know if EA would listen. Like the op, i love the BaGM. In fact, this is the only mode I play most of the time. I tried doing the BAP, useless for me. IMO, even not much improvement in the presentation, as long as they do a deep BaGM mode...i'd be in Hockey heaven

This is kinda in Madden and I agree, coaches should be available from a hiring pool, with the ability to fire....

Also, I don't know but if it's a licensing issue, ea created ones would be better than nothing especially if we have the tools to change their names and play style. Thus, we could create them ourselves.
