    Controller "Rumble" (lack there of)

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else... But I was enjoying The Show all weekend... and my controller was about to run out of battery. So instead of simply plug it in, I turned it off and turned on a fully charged controller.

All of a sudden, I started feeling the "rumble" from the controller! I realized that I hadn't experience this yet so I did some testing. Turns out that after I start the game, I have to turn off the controller, and then turn it on again for their to be any "rumble" response.

Just wanted to pass this along to everyone! Minor thing... but kinda nice to know!

I also had this yesterday, i wondered why there is no rumbling like in previous versions while pitching. When I locate the pitch and went outside of the strike zone it didn't Rumble, but after my controller shut off when I paused the game longer and i switched it on, the Rumble was there all of a sudden. Seems to be a bug.

I definitely noticed this too (PS4 version). At times I get the rumble feedback and then it just completely stops at some point. I first thought that it was because my controller's charge was low, but I then noticed it happen again on another fully charged controller. I haven't tried turning it off & back on to see if the rumble comes back. Although this isn't a huge deal (unlike not having personalized music or no more low fielding camera which have been giant steps backward IMO), I do hope that's a legit work around because now that I noticed it I miss the rumble a lot. Especially when I try to influence the type of hit (R2+R-Stick), without the feedback I never know if my input ever registered or not.

Thought I was going mad, sure I felt it and haven't for days. Been searching everywhere trying to turn it back on!

So just turn it off then on?

like custom cameras, you have to redo this each time you re-enter the game.

          Really weak by SD.

Its a firmware 1.70 bug, happens in other games too.

Doing it on the game won't work, you'd have to do it from the PS4 settings. I know its supper annoying but its what has been working for me.

Yea I've only done it in a game... but I just go to "turn off device" and then select the controller to turn it off... and then the game will say please connect controller1... press the PS button to turn it on... and then it works!

This guys got it. It's not a problem with the game it was a bug introduced from the 1.7 ps4 firmware update.

Yep, this. Only way around it is to turn the controller off then back on. Until the next firmware update it is what it is.

What I do is just go to settings-->devces and go to controller. From there I turn off vibration and then turn it back on. Does the trick for me all the time.

Yes the same thing happened to me. I didnt feel any rumble so went into the controller to see if it was turned off but it was on. so I put OFF then ON and it worked.

Weird, I don't have this problem at all.

Same here. I have been waiting for it reading everyone comment about it but it has not surfaced yet.

I thought I read somewhere that it had to do with dimming the light on the DS4, but I haven't played around with the different settings yet. I have mine set at Dim and have issues.
