I dont really know where to post this, but i started a "sim-only" franchise to pass the time waiting on a few more updates/editions, and am in year 2023 if anyone has any questions about how things go with the roster down the line.

no issues relating to the roster that i have noticed, but it seems scea's draft classes progress a bit too fast. after a few years it seems most every team gets stacked with pitchers in the 90+ OVR leaving lots of guys in the 80's in the free agent pool

Just curious, has anybody taken it upon themselves to take OSFM OD and edit the transactions to 'current' standards? For those of us who might want to start RTTS with Ike Davis on the Pirates, for one example (since user controlled roster moves are not possible in RTTS). Or with accurate free agent signings. Obviously Knight and his crew have had their hands full, but has anybody done this, and if so, could you upload it for me? lol

Does anyone have a 25 man roster file without all the injuries? I want each team to be at their best when I start the franchise, but without a 25 man roster the line ups are just out of whack.

What happened to the player ratings chart that was in the first post of this thread? Like a player with A Potential should be rated this certain number if they're a certain number of years away. I would like to see these spreadsheets.

I do. Here is what I did....

I did all the transactions from opening day up until now(4pm or so today, 5/12). I did most of the major corrections from this thread to it as well. The ones i didnt do were, "so and so wears #27" or "this guy has a beard now". Those are minor things to me and how I play.

If there was a guy being released and there was no one to put on the team, I swapped them for one of the few remaining fake players and just edited the fake player to a guy who wasnt on the roster. HOWEVER when I say edit I dont mean fully edit like these guys do. All I did was change their name, age, ht/wt, b/t, etc. I didnt touch anything else(most of the times it was for a AA guy who isnt a big prospect). Again, thats just ME and that small-ish stuff doesnt affect me.

All of the SECA added/updated players are also in(including today). All of the injured players ar eback on their MLB team(Im sure I missed one or 2). And A-Rod is on the Yankees. No teams have any edits done to SECA players with the exception of the Mets(my team)

If there is any interest, I will upload it to the vault.

Hah after I posted this I didn't get any responses, so I just said "screw it" and did a quick one myself. I only did the trades, from opening day until now. Didn't bother with free agent signings. I started my RTTS already, it's going well so I'd feel awful restarting it haha.

If you did upload it I would probably download it, maybe start a franchise while I'm waiting for the OSFM Hybrid.

LOL. I'm a franchise guy....never really got into RTTS. Great mode though.

Don't know about a v3 but probably sometime in the future when Knight and his crew has been able to enjoy the game and their rosters a bit

I think seanjeezy said late May/early June for his update. To me it sounds more like a v4 but I'm just speculating. My guess is as good as yours

It wasn't. He's "#30" in the SCEA update. I don't think they can just add in pbp names like that unless they're already in the database when the game ships.

That said, sometimes there are similar-sounding names already in the database so maybe the OSFM guys found one for Olt.

Ok, thanks, I didn't know they couldn't add it in like that and since I don't generally check out the SCEA updates after OSFM is out I didn't know. I'm surprised they didn't include Olt in the database given the fact that he was previously in the majors with a decent shot of making the majors this year.
