MLB 2K13 PS3 Updated Rosters
Just wanted to post a set of rosters for PS3 users out there. These rosters need a little work to reflect some more recent transactions. I had downloaded them before the roster vault went down and I think they were pretty accurate for late February. I may have fixed a few things since then but the user (Mcbamn?) had done a pretty good job up to that point. Anyways, this will be better than anything else out there.Tags: None -

Re: MLB 2K13 PS3 Updated Rosters
I tried this today and my PS3 said it was corrupted.
I first tried to copy the folder directly to my PS3 and it said something about the roster and the wrong user.
I then copied my roster to the USB drive and replaced the contents with the contents of the one posted. That is when I got the corrupt data error.
Any advise?

Sorry. I thought we could copy files. My only suggestion would be using the NBA LIVE 10 trick. You create your own roster file, copy it to PC and then swap out the roster guts file. In Live that kept the right user name attached but updated inside file info.I tried this today and my PS3 said it was corrupted.

Re: MLB 2K13 PS3 Updated Rosters
I figured it out. It seems like PS3 saves are locked to consoles/users.
I did a little research and found a guide that almost worked. With a little trial and error I got the saves to be resigned as "my" saves so my PS3 would accept the. Here is how I did it:
I started by following the directions from this page: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/import-...ave-games-ps3/
Here are some changes/amendments I had to make to those directions for it to finally work:
Step 0.5 (do this between the linked steps 0 and 1)
Step 3.1Go to your "Documents folder > The Prince of Codes > [PS3]Save Resigner" and add the following to the Games.conf file
; "Major League Baseball 2K13" (vcentertainmentB)
[BLUS31167]
;disc_hash_key=
secure_file_id:*=7663656E7465727461696E6D656E7442
This worked for me. If this does not make sense I will try to explain again. Before you click "Save to Current USB Drive" click the button "Resign" to the left.
It wont work unless you Resign it before saving it to your USB drive.Comment

I am going to slowly start tinkering with the file over the next few weeks, and hopefully can release an updated roster for the PS3 guys before the start of Spring Training. :
Hopefully there is enough interest out there still.
Thank you so much man. I let this game sit on the shelf for about 6 months after I bought it and saw my roommate giving it a shot. That got me playing, and it has become my favorite game ever. It's hard to find people doing things for it on the PS3.Comment

I have no problems using the programs for the 360 but I cannot get my head around the PS3 Resigner at all. No clue what to do with it.Comment

Re: MLB 2K13 PS3 Updated Rosters
Got a link to it? Last time I tried to use it I ended up getting a corrupt data error. Does it work kinda like Horizon for the 360. Basically once you load your profile into the program you are copy and pasting your profile numbers onto the new roster?Originally posted by CrazyKitchenGuyI have had good with KGs Save Resigner. It is very straight forward.
Basically pull a save of yours to get the information. Save it as a profile. Load the new file and copy over the profile info to make it your own.
Simple as that.Comment
