Just played in Wrigley Field today for the first time and noticed there was no organ music being played there. Previous MLB: The Shows had that unique feature in Chicago.
Good thread, appreciate everyone input, hopefully the SCEA team will look here as well as their own site. My biggest gripe is the custom camera not saving issue. I hate that every time I want to play I have to set the camera up. I watched the twitch stream and saw that Russell said it would be addressed in the next patch. My only other gripe is the drop third strike glitch. Basically on drop third strikes when the CPU throws to the first baseman, he isn't on the base and he glides to the base to make the out.
PS: I would like to see the slow mode pitch delay added back.
Yes, good call on the first basemen gliding glitch.
Also another glitch it's very minor and doesn't really change the gameplay but the shortstop and third basemen are mixed up on the defensive positioning overlay that is shown before the first pitch.
the jeter face glitch used to be useful for create a player, back in 2012 or 2011 maybe we could upload to the vault a player and download them with a real face (if you did it wrong you got a jeter face).
wonder if this means there is still a way to manipulate that.
Yeah I had actually found that glitch on the first or second day that game came out because I created Mike Piazza or Ken Griffey Jr or some other veteran who had been in the game and someone downloaded them on the player vault and asked how I got the face to look so real.
The face glitch though here happens with players that are created by Sony, probably because The Show Live and Diamond Dynasty don't have the new players added custom faces in the game's database or something so when it tries to load a face it cannot find one and it just defaults to Derek Jeter ( on PS3 ) or Chase Headley ( on PS4 ) instead.

Yup I've noticed this every time that screen is shown. I hope they fix the double shadows for players at night.
This 20,000 times over. I have to reset it, by memory, each time I start up the game. That's just unacceptable. Same goes for the rumble on my controller. I mean really?
Add the horrid stuttering/framerate as miscellaneous times too please.
From what I understand that is the case with all games right now. It's a bug with the PS4 firmware update 1.70 I believe. It's not an issue with this game alone.
Check it out in the game and tell me if that's realistic.
I've played the game for hours and hours and I haven't noticed any problems with the players' shadows besides them sometimes being a bit too dark, but that happens in day games too. How about you explain or post a screenshot?

You don't think it's weird that at night time games the players have two pairs of shadows. I'm pretty sure that's incorrect and really off.
The stadium lighting issues are a MUST. also, the constant flashing / stuttering / whatever you want to call it around the edge of the grass around the home plate dirt, ridiculously noticeable in certain camera angles between pitches, that's bad enough to totally distract me from how great the game looks otherwise.
- opposition fielding feedback display put back in D-pad up menu
- Pan Cam back to 2nd base with down on D-Pad/RS when in outfield pitcher view (still not sure if its just my game or if it was taken out of the game)
- organ music, stadium atmosphere, less rock music played for outs so we can hear k out sounds ect.
- a slow mode for gameplay,to fast between pitches, cutscene's get cut off.
Bringing Back the slow gameplay mode to the game. Can't stress this enough that everyone doesn't want to play games at a rapid pace.... Fouling off pitches throughout a tough or long AB should not be penalized by ignoring what happened and jumping to the next pitch instantly.
Were you the one who started the thread about this? I was going to bump it and agree this needs way more attention. It was a big selling-point of MLB12 iirc, how everything happened in real time. I don't think things don't happen in real time anymore, it seems like the game is just hitting the x button on you for no reason. I hate it.
