iOOTP Baseball 2014: A Little Too Incremental

Mobile gaming has yet to really “take off” for sports gamers. We want full, in-your-face control of the team and finances, so a quick, unfulfilling smart phone version with a $5 tag doesn’t get many people excited. However, there are always exceptions that break the mold (to an extent).

So, the new Retina & iPhone 5 support, along with updated 2014 rosters (where countless hours of work went into, obviously) and new AI is not an improvement? Oh well, I think I disagree with this review

The main problem we'll have moving forward with iOOTP is to add new "groundbreaking" features. The limit of the platform is currently reached, with the storage (mostly RAM) we cannot add more in-depth stuff like playable minor leagues etc. It's not like we cannot develop such features (of course, it would just be simple copy & paste of OOTP 15 code), but current devices simply are not powerful enough.
