Re: NHL 15 Interview with Lead Producer Sean Ramjagsingh Reveals a Few More Details
I've always said the NHL series is awesome for 6v6 online play, but pretty much awful for 1v1, whether its against the cpu or another player. Personally, I'm alright with that because I like playing online, but I can certainly understand how a lot of people aren't. I don't understand why the game can't be designed in such a way where both are good.Comment

I guess I am in the minority but after trading my xbox one in for a ps4 I did also get the show and granted I have not played many games but I do not get how this game is so good. I think IMO it is alright but I was expecting a better experience.Comment

I can tell you this, go to any section of this site and I'd be willing to bet that there are way more people who would rather play one game of The Show over two games of NHL. I know I'm one of them. The Show sells systems. You have tons of people on this site who bought PS4's just because The Show is only available on that console.
You are the exact gamer that this game is developed for so obviously you will praise the game. There is no need to demean the people who don't like the game. From reading your posts you seem to play online a lot and obviously have different expectations for a hockey game, so honestly there's no reason to discredit people who don't enjoy the game. Online can be fun, but many people don't play online. The people who want a casual/co-op/online game (like yourself) of hockey are pretty much satisfied, but the people who want a realistic offline experience are not. That's great you enjoy the game but don't say that all people do is bash the game because that's not what it is. We are letting out our thoughts because we are sick and tired of having this game exactly the same every year, and mainly cater to the casual and online hockey experience. I've said it many times, EA has nailed down the casual to semi-realistic experience. In fact I enjoy this game playing with friends, but I get no joy out of this game through a solo offline experience. It's time for EA to reach every one of it's customers. FWIW I would love to be able to play a realistic 20 minute period game of hockey.B'sComment

Nah man I wouldn't say bottom. "(MLB,NBA,FIFA,Madden,NHL)"- NHL is more fun to play and definitely takes less time to have a hell of a game compared to those listed except FIFA the games are obviously shorter. Yeah those games are great and definitely have more to offer than NHL but still who wants to play 9 innings twice in a row than two battles in NHL. You tell me.
Also, I've played my 360 - Titanfall and Skyrim still get regular use, but NHL just sits in its case because I remember how dull and boring the game is. It's the same thing every time.Comment

I would. I can't tell you the last time I touched NHL 14 but The Show hasn't left my PS4 since I've had it.

If this game is just another upgrade...with a new presentation (NBC) but fails in gameplay...I REALLY HOPE EA FIRE THIS RAMJ...he's a disgrace.Comment

Although I did not buy 14 because I knew its still garbage...just like all the games that came out after 09....NHL should not be dull and boring. The ONLY reason why its DULL and BORING is because of EA developing team. All the teams play the same and likewise players.

I don't get why they do that. Why not make it like FIFA where you can rename a place since most of the real life places aren't even in the game. For NHL games, if they can't have the arena name in the game ,just put the team name on the ice. I'd rather see "Chicago Blackhawks" around center ice than "Chicago Stadium" and "New York Rangers" instead of "New York Arena" and stuff like that.Comment

Not 100% sure because I always skip the intros. Have since like 2011 since they're relatively the same.Comment
