    Is this mode any popular?

Looking at the number of posts on this section of the board since the game came out, I'm wondering if a sizable amount of people actually play Diamond Dynasty?

Of course there might not be many posts here because the people who are actually playing DD aren't posting about it here. But the MyTeam forum on NBA2K had a lot more posts/posters.

    Do you play DD?

You'll see quite a bit of activity on the official DD The Show forum on their site. Quite a lot of people play this mode.

I was going to get into this mode... but what killed it for me is the fact that I had a starting rotation of all MLB pitchers with 10 game contracts... and the 4 starters who didn't play lost a game off their contract even though they didn't play. Too much extra work to have to scratch players every game, I'd forget to do it too often.. lol

Well, you're not supposed to have all MLB players, and if you do then yeah you'll have to micromanage it. Also they don't regain stamina when they're inactive, so taking them out of your rotation wouldn't do any good.

That's what I mean. So having a SP with a 10 game contract, you can only use him for 3 or 4 starts at best..

Yes, but the regular pitchers have 30-40 game contracts so they make around 10 starts.
